Shift Personnel definition

Shift Personnel assigned to the duty cycles specified in Sub-Section 11.1 are not eligible for holiday leave. In lieu of time off for holidays, "Shift Personnel" shall receive "holiday-in-lieu pay." The "holiday-in-lieu pay" shall be thirteen (13) twelve-hour days per year at straight time (13 x 12 = 156 straight time hours). Such pay shall be received in the amount of six (6) hours of straight time pay with each regular bi-weekly paycheck.
Shift Personnel. The work schedule shall be an average of fifty-six (56) hours per week based on a three (3) platoon schedule of repeating two (2) twenty-four (24) hours days on, and four (4) days off. Shifts will start and end at 0800 hours. Should an employee be assigned to training, modified duty, or any instances where an employee does not reasonably need to respond to an emergency, employees shall be provided a thirty (30) minute unpaid meal break. At the discretion of the Fire Chief, the work schedule may be revised to provide alternative scheduling for days on/off. If necessary, the FLSA work period may be modified to accommodate this change.
Shift Personnel. All time worked in excess of two hundred and twelve (212) hours over the twenty-eight (28) day work period shall be compensated shall be compensated at the rate of one and one–half (1.5) times the employee's regular rate of pay.

More Definitions of Shift Personnel

Shift Personnel. Employees who are assigned to work in 56 hour positions.
Shift Personnel means a regular full-time employee hired as a firefighter and assigned to work any 24-hour staffing model. Common staffing models are 48 hours on shift followed by 96 hours off, 72 hours on shift followed by 96 hours off, or 24 hours on shift followed by 48 hours off shift.
Shift Personnel means personnel whose duty assignment is for 24 consecutive hours or more with at least 24 hours or more scheduled for off duty before another assignment is commenced.
Shift Personnel means facility employees who are scheduled to provide services 7 days a week and utilize alternate holiday schedules, including Youth Recreation Specialists and dietary staff.
