Permission to Leave Work for Union Activities. The Xxxxxxx before leaving his workstation to perform any of his functions herein set fort h, shall request permission from the immediate supervisor and state the Union b usiness he desires to conduct on Company time. Such permission shall be immediately granted unless it should substantially interf ere with operations. If necessary, a Xxxxxxx shall remain on his regular work until a reasonable time is afforded to provide a substitute in his place. When entering the area of another supervisor’s responsibility, he will contact the supervisor before attempting to contact any employee. He shall report to his supervisor upon completing each mission.

  • Permission to Leave Work The Employer agrees that stewards shall not be hindered, coerced, restrained or interfered with in any way in the performance of their duties, while investigating disputes and presenting adjustments as provided in this Article.
