Physical Fitness for Duty. Each officer must maintain a minimum level of physical fitness in order to be capable of performing his or her duties to protect the public and one another. No officer may report for duty physically impaired, injured, or ill to the point they cannot perform the essential and critical functions of their job duties as assigned (this does not apply to work related injuries where a physician has approved an officer to work in a modified duty capacity).

No Sergeant may report for duty physically impaired, injured, or ill to the point they cannot perform the essential and critical functions of their job duties as assigned (this does not apply to work related injuries where a physician has approved a Sergeant to work in a modified duty capacity).
Physical Fitness for Duty. 29.1 Unit members are eligible to voluntarily participate in the department’s health and fitness incentive program. Members will work with the department’s Peer Fitness Trainers to train and annually demonstrate their physical competency by the successful completion of a physical fitness assessment program as outlined in Appendix B.

  • Fitness for Duty When question exists related to appropriate leave administration or work safety to individuals, co-workers or others, the EMPLOYER may require employees to undergo a medical evaluation that will enable the EMPLOYER to determine the employee’s fitness for performance of his/her duties. When the EMPLOYER requires an evaluation or report from a medical authority, either the employee’s personal or treating authority or the medical authority of the EMPLOYER’s selection, the EMPLOYER shall:

  • Physical Fitness New Employees. New employees are required to file a medical examination report with the Director of Health Services before reporting for duty in the Des Moines schools. The employee must pay the cost of this examination given by a physician of his/her choice and reported on the form provided by the Employer.

  • Fitness for Duty Examination A. In directing employees to undergo a fitness for duty examination, the Agency will observe applicable rules and regulations.

  • Physical Fitness Program 42.1 The Joint Labor/Management Physical Fitness Committee consisting of four (4) members, two (2) appointed by the Chief of Department and two (2) appointed by the Union shall develop a physical fitness program for the Department to maintain and improve the health and fitness of members and reduce injuries. The employees appointed by the Union shall receive reasonable time off without loss of compensation or other benefits for the purpose of participating in meetings of the Joint Labor/Management Physical Fitness Committee.

  • MEDICAL FITNESS 12:01 The Employer may require an employee to have a psychiatric examination and/or a physical examination by a duly qualified medical practitioner acceptable to the Employer.

  • Fitness for Work 6.2.1 The parties to this Agreement agree that the maintenance of a safe and healthy working environment will be enhanced by adopting a pro-active approach to addressing fitness for work issues, including the misuse of drugs and alcohol in the workplace, workplace stress and fatigue. The management of these occupational health and safety issues will assist to eliminate a contributing factor to workplace injuries and accidents.

  • ODUF Physical File Characteristics 6.2.1 ODUF will be distributed to Image Access via Secure File Transfer Protocol (FTP). The ODUF feed will be a variable block format. The data on the ODUF feed will be in a non-compacted EMI format (one hundred seventy-five (175) byte format plus modules). It will be created on a daily basis Monday through Friday except holidays. Details such as dataset name and delivery schedule will be addressed during negotiations of the distribution medium. There will be a maximum of one (1) dataset per workday per OCN. If BellSouth determines the Secure FTP Mailbox is nearing capacity levels, BellSouth may move the customer to CONNECT:Direct file delivery.

  • ACADEMIC FREEDOM A. The parties seek to educate young people in the democratic tradition, to xxxxxx a recognition of individual freedom and social responsibility to inspire meaningful awareness of a respect for the Constitution and the Xxxx of Rights, and to instill appreciation of the values of individual responsibility. It is recognized that these democratic values can best be transmitted in an atmosphere that is free from censorship and artificial restraints upon free inquiry and learning, and in which academic freedom for teacher and student is encouraged.

  • Annual Physical Examination A permanent employee shall be granted up to one day per year with pay for the purpose of a comprehensive physical examination provided that the verification of such an examination is submitted to the District.

  • Physical File Characteristics 6.2.1 The Optional Daily Usage File will be distributed to <<customer_name>> via an agreed medium with CONNECT:Direct being the preferred transport method. The Daily Usage Feed will be a variable block format (2476) with an LRECL of 2472. The data on the Daily Usage Feed will be in a non-compacted EMI format (175 byte format plus modules). It will be created on a daily basis (Monday through Friday except holidays). Details such as dataset name and delivery schedule will be addressed during negotiations of the distribution medium. There will be a maximum of one dataset per workday per OCN.
