Physical Therapist Assistants. Section 5.3 An employee scheduled for layoff shall be given no less than two (2) weeks’ notice or the equivalent in wages. Section 5.4 Layoffs shall take place as follows: The employee with the least seniority within the affected classification, as set forth in Section 5.2, shall be laid off first. Under no circumstances shall an employee bump up or down into a separate classification, as set for in Section 5.2. A. Employees who have been laid off shall be on a recall list for a period of two (2) years from the date of layoff. No employee shall be recalled to a position of greater rank, compensation, or authority and no part-time employee will be recalled to a greater part- time or full-time position. No new employee shall be hired into any classification for which there exists a qualified former employee on an active recall list. Employees shall be recalled in reverse order of seniority. Any laid off employee working in a lesser classification/position does not forfeit recall rights for the remaining period of recall. B. The Superintendent must receive acceptance of recall within two (2) weeks after notification of recall is sent by Certified Mail Return Receipt Requested to the employee's last known address unless there are extenuating circumstances which prevent the employee from accepting recall within such period. X. Xxxxxxx to accept recall for any reason other than extenuating circumstances will cause such employee's name to be stricken from the recall list. D. No part-time employee(s) will be used while regular employees in the bargaining unit are on layoff.
Physical Therapist Assistants. Current licensure from the Florida Board of Physical Therapy. All services must be rendered under the general supervision of a licensed physical therapist. Current licensure from the Florida Occupational Therapy Council. Current licensure from the Florida Occupational Therapy Council, Division of Occupational Therapy Assistants. All services must be rendered under the general supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.

  • Volunteer Peer Assistants 1. Up to eight (8)

  • Assistants Any Assistant Secretary or Assistant Treasurer, respectively, may exercise any of the powers of Secretary or Treasurer, respectively, as provided in this Agreement or as directed by the Board, and shall perform such other duties as are imposed upon them by this Agreement or the Board.

  • Specialists Persons working within a juridical person who possess uncommon knowledge essential to the commercial presence’s production, research equipment, techniques or management. In assessing such knowledge, account will be taken not only of knowledge specific to the commercial presence, but also of whether the person has a high level of qualification referring to a type of work or trade requiring specific technical knowledge, including membership of an accredited profession.

  • Training a. The employer, in consultation with the local, shall be responsible for developing and implementing an ongoing harassment and sexual harassment awareness program for all employees. Where a program currently exists and meets the criteria listed in this agreement, such a program shall be deemed to satisfy the provisions of this article. This awareness program shall initially be for all employees and shall be scheduled at least once annually for all new employees to attend. b. The awareness program shall include but not be limited to: i. the definitions of harassment and sexual harassment as outlined in this Agreement; ii. understanding situations that are not harassment or sexual harassment, including the exercise of an employer's managerial and/or supervisory rights and responsibilities; iii. developing an awareness of behaviour that is illegal and/or inappropriate; iv. outlining strategies to prevent harassment and sexual harassment; v. a review of the resolution of harassment and sexual harassment as outlined in this Agreement; vi. understanding malicious complaints and the consequences of such; vii. outlining any Board policy for dealing with harassment and sexual harassment; viii. outlining laws dealing with harassment and sexual harassment which apply to employees in B.C.

  • Hospice Individuals whose permanent residence and principal work location are outside the State of Minnesota and outside of the service areas of the health plans participating in Advantage. If these individuals use the plan administrator’s national preferred provider organization in their area, services will be covered at Benefit Level Two. If a national preferred provider is not available in their area, services will be covered at Benefit Level Two through any other provider available in their area. If the national preferred provider organization is available but not used, benefits will be paid at the POS level described in paragraph “i” below. All terms and conditions outlined in the Summary of Benefits will apply.

  • Radiation Therapy/Chemotherapy Services This plan covers chemotherapy and radiation services. This plan covers respiratory therapy services. When respiratory services are provided in your home, as part of a home care program, durable medical equipment, supplies, and oxygen are covered as a durable medical equipment service.

  • Anesthesia Services This plan covers general and local anesthesia services received from an anesthesiologist when the surgical procedure is a covered healthcare service. This plan covers office visits or office consultations with an anesthesiologist when provided prior to a scheduled covered surgical procedure.

  • Nurses The Superintendent will hire registered nurses with Ohio Department of Education certification/licensure to work as school nurses in the district.

  • Contract for Professional Services of Physicians Optometrists, and Registered Nurses
