Plant Operators. Notice of termination for plant operators will be in accordance with the Act. Payment in lieu of notice will include all amounts the Employee would have been entitled to if they had worked until the end of the minimum period of notice and must be paid into their account within two business days of termination.
Plant Operators. If the holiday falls on a plant operator's scheduled day off, the plant operator will receive holiday pay for eight (8) hours at the regular rate of pay or the employee may schedule another day off if such scheduling does not result in overtime.

a) Theemployeeshall receivetheoretical training, and must pass a written examination. The xxxxxxx, training xxxxxxx or a designated operator shall stay with the operator for introductionto the area until the trainee is fully familiar with the area and related duties. The examination shall take place within working days from the start of the training. The trainee shall notify the xxxxxxx or training xxxxxxx when ready to challenge the test. The applicable rate change shall go into effect upon successful completion of the examination. Where the trainee has indicated the readiness but is not able to do the examination within working days, the change in pay rate, upon successfulcompletion, shall bemade retroactive to the 17th working day from start of training.
Plant Operators the District shall reimburse for safety boots one (1) time per calendar year, at a maximum of $200 per pair.
