Postings while on Vacation or Leave. When an employee will be absent on vacation, and/or a leave of absence, the employee may advise her manager, in writing, and no more than seven days prior to beginning the vacation, that she wishes to be considered for any potential job posting which might arise during her vacation. The written notice must specify the job or position for which the employee wishes to be considered. If such a job or position then arises during the employee's vacation, the written notice will be considered an application. The written notice is only valid during the vacation period immediately following its delivery to the manager.
