Preceptor Differential. The Hospital will pay a qualified preceptor nurse a differential of $1.75 per hour worked as a preceptor to perform coaching (1) of a newly hired nurse (including a re-entry nurse) during that nurse’s introductory period, or (2) of a nurse in a Hospital residency program. The Hospital shall further have the discretion to assign preceptor duties to a qualified preceptor at the above-described rate in other circumstances it deems appropriate. This differential will not be paid for any unworked hours or for any hours when the nurse is not working as a preceptor.
