Preceptor Differential. 14 A nurse working as a preceptor will be paid a differential of one dollar and fifty 16 assess the learning needs of the nurse for a specified period of time to plan and 17 implement the program and to provide direct guidance. 18 For Hospital employees, the nurse manager, the preceptor, and the preceptee, 19 will meet regularly to evaluate the nurse preceptee’s progress during the program 20 (orientation). 22 This differential will not be paid for any hours when the nurse is not working as a 23 preceptor. Nurses working as preceptors shall have these additional preceptor 24 responsibilities considered in their regular patient care assignment.
