The contractor shall apply paint in strict accordance with the applicable manufacturer printed data sheet and container label outlining recommended minimum and maximum surface and air temperatures required for application. Protection of the surface adjacent to the pole is required to prevent abrasion or coloring. Preventative actions must be taken to prevent blast material and paint over-spray from damaging adjacent property and vehicles.
