VOCATIONAL INSTRUCTORS. At the District’s discretion, vocationally certified instructors may be given additional days at per diem to be used on weekends and during the summer to provide student leadership activities such as TSA, FCCLA, or other student leadership activities directly related to vocational classes. These days are not intended to be used for conferences, symposiums, or trainings. A plan for the additional days (or hours) must be presented, in advance, and is subject to administrative approval. The additional hours must be documented and submitted to the Business Manager for reimbursement. VOCATIONAL INSTRUCTORS. A. Credit toward advancement on the salary schedule may be earned by vocational instructors in building trades, electronics, auto body and auto mechanics, welding, and commercial art areas based on the following criteria: 1. College credit for approved courses issued by recognized colleges or universities will count for movement on the salary schedule. 2. Non-degreed vocational instructors may advance on the salary schedule from the BA Column to the BA+30 Column. These instructors would also qualify for the experience payment. 3. Non-degreed vocational instructors may advance on the salary schedule to the BA+45 Column if the vocational instructor is working towards a degree (Associates or Bachelors). A plan of study must be submitted to the Human Resources Office. This provision will apply to those teachers hired by the district for the 2011-12 school year and beyond. 4. To be eligible for advancement on the salary schedule, all course work hours must be approved by the Superintendent of Schools or designee prior to enrolling in the course.
VOCATIONAL INSTRUCTORS. Initial placement on the salary schedule will be on Class 1 and will be related, in general, to the prevailing community salary rates for the occupational field in which the vocational instructor is required to have had experience. The prevailing community rate will be determined by Human Resources through a survey of actual salaries paid in the San Diego metropolitan area. The vocational instructor will then be placed on the step of Class 1 which will provide a monthly salary rate reasonably comparable to the prevailing monthly community salary rate. Vocational instructors with earned master's degrees at the time of initial contract employment may elect to be rated under either these rules or the rules for arts and science instructors. Initial salary class placement and subsequent salary class advancement shall be predicated on the academic preparation of the vocational instructor at the time of first contract employment with the District. All course work must be after the date of first contract employment except for vocational instructors with master's degrees at the time of initial contract employment.

  • COMPTROLLER GENERAL ACCESS The Parties authorize the Comptroller General of the United States (the Government Accountability Office), upon request, to have access to all USAC and DSS records necessary to monitor or verify compliance with this matching Agreement, in accordance with 5 U.S.C. § 552a(o)(l)(K). This Agreement also authorizes the Comptroller General to inspect any records used in the matching process covered by this matching Agreement under 31 U.S.C. § 717 and 5 U.S.C. § 552a(b)(10).

  • Anti-Money Laundering and Red Flag Identity Theft Prevention Programs The Trust acknowledges that it has had an opportunity to review, consider and comment upon the written procedures provided by USBFS describing various tools used by USBFS which are designed to promote the detection and reporting of potential money laundering activity and identity theft by monitoring certain aspects of shareholder activity as well as written procedures for verifying a customer’s identity (collectively, the “Procedures”). Further, the Trust and USBFS have each determined that the Procedures, as part of the Trust’s overall Anti-Money Laundering Program and Red Flag Identity Theft Prevention Program, are reasonably designed to: (i) prevent each Fund from being used for money laundering or the financing of terrorist activities; (ii) prevent identity theft; and (iii) achieve compliance with the applicable provisions of the Bank Secrecy Act, Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act of 2003 and the USA Patriot Act of 2001 and the implementing regulations thereunder. Based on this determination, the Trust hereby instructs and directs USBFS to implement the Procedures on the Trust’s behalf, as such may be amended or revised from time to time. It is contemplated that these Procedures will be amended from time to time by the parties as additional regulations are adopted and/or regulatory guidance is provided relating to the Trust’s anti-money laundering and identity theft responsibilities. USBFS agrees to provide to the Trust: (a) Prompt written notification of any transaction or combination of transactions that USBFS believes, based on the Procedures, evidence money laundering or identity theft activities in connection with the Trust or any Fund shareholder; (b) Prompt written notification of any customer(s) that USBFS reasonably believes, based upon the Procedures, to be engaged in money laundering or identity theft activities, provided that the Trust agrees not to communicate this information to the customer; (c) Any reports received by USBFS from any government agency or applicable industry self-regulatory organization pertaining to USBFS’ Anti-Money Laundering Program or the Red Flag Identity Theft Prevention Program on behalf of the Trust; (d) Prompt written notification of any action taken in response to anti-money laundering violations or identity theft activity as described in (a), (b) or (c) immediately above; and (e) Certified annual and quarterly reports of its monitoring and customer identification activities pursuant to the Procedures on behalf of the Trust. The Trust hereby directs, and USBFS acknowledges, that USBFS shall (i) permit federal regulators access to such information and records maintained by USBFS and relating to USBFS’ implementation of the Procedures, on behalf of the Trust, as they may request, and (ii) permit such federal regulators to inspect USBFS’ implementation of the Procedures on behalf of the Trust.

  • STATEWIDE CONTRACT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM If the maximum amount payable to Contractor under this Contract is $100,000 or greater, either on the Effective Date or at any time thereafter, this section shall apply. Contractor agrees to be governed by and comply with the provisions of §§00-000-000, 00-000-000, 00-000-000, and 00- 000-000, C.R.S. regarding the monitoring of vendor performance and the reporting of contract information in the State’s contract management system (“Contract Management System” or “CMS”). Contractor’s performance shall be subject to evaluation and review in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Contract, Colorado statutes governing CMS, and State Fiscal Rules and State Controller policies.

  • CLEARANCE PATTERNS 7.1 The State shall develop separate clearance patterns for each of the following: Vendor Account Payroll Account AHS-PATH Account Unemployment Insurance Benefits Account Federal Highway Planning & Construction Program (Vendor Account) 7.2 The following shall develop the State's clearance patterns: The State of Vermont-Department of Finance and Management 7.3 The sources of data the State shall use when developing its clearance patterns are as follows: Vendor account-State's central accounting system Unemployment Insurance Benefits Account-Department of Labor bank records All other accounts-Bank files from the State Treasurer's Office 7.4 The State shall use the following methodology when developing its clearance patterns: When developing each clearance pattern, the State shall track at least 99% of the funds disbursed, from issuance to clearance, for a period of at least three months. 7.5 The State shall identify for each check or warrant (hereafter, check) in the population: (1) the date the check was released for payment; (2) the date the check was debited from the State's account, and, (3) the amount of the check. 7.6 The State shall use the following method to calculate the dollar-weighted average day of clearance: To determine the number of days each check was outstanding (clearance time), the issue date shall be subtracted from the date the check cleared the State's account. To determine the percentage of the disbursement paid out each day following issuance, the amount of the checks that clear the State's account each day shall be summed and then divided by the amount of the total disbursement. For each day following issuance, the clearance time of the checks paid out that day shall be multiplied by the percentage of the total disbursement those checks represent. This product is the clearance factor. The dollar-weighted average day of clearance for the disbursement shall be determined by summing the clearance factor of each day following the disbursement. 7.7 The State shall adjust each clearance pattern to reflect the dollar-weighted proportion of funds paid out by EFT/Direct payroll, with the following exceptions: All Accounts - An adjustment is not necessary since the State includes all payments in its clearance pattern calculations, including those paid electronically. The State shall also adjust each clearance pattern to reflect: n/a 7.8 Each of the State's clearance patterns is calculated in calendar days. 7.9 An authorized State official shall certify that each clearance pattern developed by the State accurately corresponds to the clearance activity of the programs to which it is applied. This certification shall be provided to the Fiscal Service prior to the effective date of the Agreement. The State shall recertify its clearance patterns at least every five years. 7.10 The State shall follow the procedures of 31 CFR 205 if it has actual or constructive knowledge, at any time, that a clearance pattern does not correspond to a program's clearance activity.

  • REGULATORY ADMINISTRATION SERVICES BNY Mellon shall provide the following regulatory administration services for each Fund and Series:  Assist the Fund in responding to SEC examination requests by providing requested documents in the possession of BNY Mellon that are on the SEC examination request list and by making employees responsible for providing services available to regulatory authorities having jurisdiction over the performance of such services as may be required or reasonably requested by such regulatory authorities;  Assist with and/or coordinate such other filings, notices and regulatory matters and other due diligence requests or requests for proposal on such terms and conditions as BNY Mellon and the applicable Fund on behalf of itself and its Series may mutually agree upon in writing from time to time; and
