Professional Time Off. At the discretion of the Appointing Authority and in accordance with any guidelines the Appointing Authority may issue, an employee may be granted professional time off not to exceed a maximum of one hundred twenty(120) hours per fiscal year. Professional Time Off. 8.5.1. With three days prior approval (when possible), ten (10) of the ten (10) days of leave of absence for illness or injury as allowed pursuant to Education Code Section 44981 may be used by the unit member, at his/her election.
Professional Time Off. At the discretion of the County Counsel and in accordance with the standards issued on November 17, 2003, as interpreted by memoranda dated May 12, 2004 and April 18, 2005, an employee may be granted Professional Time Off (PTO) not to exceed a maximum of one hundred and twenty (120) hours per fiscal year. The decision on whether to grant Professional Time Off shall be based on the guidelines applicable to PTO, and shall take into account an employee’s overall workload involving assigned projects and cases. In addition to the above referenced guidelines applicable to PTO, Professional Time Off is subject to the following conditions:
Professional Time Off. Each employee shall receive a total of 25.2 hours of professional time off annually. This time shall have the same restrictions as does vacation time and shall be selected in the same fashion. This time must be used as time off and cannot be used for pay purposes. Effective January 1, 2005 an employee may choose to be paid for 16.8 hours of professional time. Effective January 1, 2004 an employee may choose to be paid for an additional 8.4 hours of professional in the same manner as vacation.
Professional Time Off. The County and the Deputy District Attorneys Association agree to re-open Article 6, Section 11, “Professional Time Off” during the second year of this Agreement to discuss PTO hours only.

  • Personal Time Off Executive shall be entitled to paid time off in accordance with the Company’s policies applicable to executives.

  • Prime Time Vacation Period Subject to the provisions of this article, it is the intent of the parties that no employee will be restricted in the time of year they choose to take their vacation. The Employer will make every effort to allow employees to take their vacation during the period of April 15th to October 15th inclusive, which will be defined as the prime time vacation period.

  • Sick Leave While on Vacation An employee who while on vacation is incapacitated for one (1) or more days due to personal illness or injury may charge such days to accrued sick leave. In such event, the employee promptly shall notify his department, and upon return to duty shall substantiate the need for, and use of, sick leave.

  • ANNUAL LEAVE (VACATION) A.   • Leave of Absence for Full-Time Union or Public Duties An employee who is elected or selected for a full-time position with the Union or anybody with which the Union is affiliated, or who is elected to public office, shall be granted leave of absence without pay and without loss of seniority.

  • Time Off The company recognises that sufficient time off to attend to personal matters and for recreation are important to the employee’s wellbeing, job satisfaction and overall productivity. Accordingly, time off may be taken with the consent of the Company, which shall not be unreasonably withheld. In considering the approval to have time off, the Parties will have regard to the current works programme and the urgency of the reason for time off. In the event that time off is to be taken, it will be the employee’s obligation to advise the Company in advance or as soon as practicable on the day of absence, recognising that unplanned absences can cause costly disruption to programmed works and are a major source of annoyance for the company, other employees and clients. The object of offering flexible working hours is that in return employees will take very seriously their obligation to turn up when they are expected. In view of the disruption caused by unplanned and or notified absenteeism, repeated failure to observe the protocol for time off would constitute misconduct.

  • Association Leave Days The School Board will provide twenty (20) days to be used as Association Leave Days. The Polk Education Association agrees to reimburse the District for the cost of substitutes.

  • Annual Paid Sick Leave Fifteen (15) days sick leave per year shall be earned by an employee at the rate of 1.25 days for every month that an employee is employed.

  • Professional Days Upon prior written application to the College, an Employee may, be granted permission to attend, during time periods when the Employee is responsible for performing duties for the College, educational and professional activities without loss of pay.

  • Travel time allowance All employees shall be paid an allowance (See Appendix A) for each day on which they present themselves for work. The allowance shall also be paid for rostered days off.
