Finalize and implement the EPA-issued ASAOC that requires the Port and City to complete the remedial design and cleanup construction, and (if necessary) long-term monitoring and maintenance of the sediment, upland, and adjacent streets of the T-117 EAA, as detailed in the SOW. This consists of the detailed analysis, design, and construction implementation of the selected Alternative No. 2, as presented in the Final EE/CA and EPA‟s Action Memorandum, dated September 30, 2010. • Comply with and fulfill the requirements of the EPA‟s ASAOC and SOW. • Complete the SOW tasks in accordance with the project schedule and timeline. • These project goals and objectives align with Seaport‟s goal of environmental stewardship, as described further below.
Project Statement. Firearm proliferation and injury constitutes a major public health problem in the U.S. Young men of color are disproportionately impacted. Harborview Medical Center (Harborview or HMC) serves as the only Level 1 adult and pediatric trauma center in Washington. As such, Harborview takes care of the vast majority of seriously injured patients in the state including those injured by firearm violence. The last several years have consistently set records as the most violent years for Harborview and Washington in the number of patients with firearm-related injuries. It has become increasingly clear that community needs extend far beyond surgical and medical care. In light of the increasing evidence supporting hospital-based or -linked violence intervention programs, Harborview Medical Center has partnered with community organizations in King County (Regional Peacekeepers collective). Harborview is also working to establish relationships with community organizations across the state. Harborview launched a pilot hospital-linked violence intervention program in the fall of 2021 specifically focused on 12-24 year olds from King County injured by gun violence. Through this partnership Harborview was able to provide high-risk youth and their families intense wraparound support services at the time of discharge and beyond with the goal of decreasing recidivism while also improving quality of life, building social support networks and creating viable alternatives to violence. This program was started with one intervention specialist, a survivor of gun violence himself, providing peer support in the hospital and ensuring coordination of care with our community partners at the time of discharge. Starting in 2022 with additional funding from OFSVP, Harborview has been able to build a program around this work. As detailed below, there is an entire team of individuals working to: 1) address root causes of violence and social determinants of health, 2) provide culturally relevant peer support, 3) coordinate holistic multidisciplinary care, and 4) ensure wrap around care after hospital discharge in coordination with our community partners for all patients with injury related to gun violence and cared for at Harborview. This means that Harborview can provide these services for patients of all ages and for patients who live outside of King County. 6.01 Introduction: The Yolo Habitat Conservation Plan/Natural Community Conservation Plan proposes to protect 32,299 acres of land in Yolo County to provide for the conservation of 12 covered species, 6 of which are federally listed in priority areas of Yolo County. The Yolo HCP/NCCP, through its monitoring and adaptive management processes, will also provide important information about the 12 covered species that has not previously been available. Numerous other local species of concern that are not specifically discussed in the HCP/NCCP will also benefit from the conservation strategies included in the plan. The HCP/NCCP “Planning Area” includes the entirety of Yolo County, which total approximately 653,000 acres, and a 1,174-acre area of Solano County that is located along the southern border of Putah Creek and is included specifically for riparian conservation. The YHC will complete the following tasks based on the schedule below if the Section 6 grant is executed by January 1, 2017. If the Section 6 grant execution is delayed, the milestones will be delayed accordingly: Task 1 - Completion of Final HCP/NCCP Task 2 - Completion of Final EIR/EIS Task 3 - Public Outreach The plan will allow the Yolo HCP/NCCP member agencies to better coordinate both voluntary conservation and mitigation to maximize species benefits.
Project Statement. Open a new food and retail concept, Beecher’s Handmade Cheese, in the Concourse C unit known as CC-09 by April 30, 2012.
Project Statement. Open a new marketplace retail concept, Xxxxxx Marketplace, in the Central Terminal unit known as CT-10 by May 1, 2011. The unit will be operated by Xxxxxx as a bookstore and news/gift location on a temporary license until this time. Two current Xxxxxx units will be re-let to new retail tenants later in 2012.
