PROTECTION OF PERSONAL PROPERTY. Student waives all claims against Landlord for personal injury or loss of or damage to clothing, valuables, or other personal property, including money, unless such loss or damage is due to negligence of Landlord. It is recommended that Student carry his/her own renter’s insurance to cover potential personal property losses. Landlord who disposes of personal property belonging to a Student with a current or future housing contract without permission of Student will reimburse Student for fair market value of item(s).
PROTECTION OF PERSONAL PROPERTY. The Board shall reimburse each teacher 8 if either of the following occurs while the teacher is discharging his/her duties in accordance with 9 his/her job description:
PROTECTION OF PERSONAL PROPERTY. 6.5.1 The Board agrees to provide each teacher with a designated safe place in the building where personal belongings may be stored by under lock and key. If a teacher's personal property or effects have been stored in the designated safe place and are damaged, destroyed or stolen in the course of employment, and it is proven that the teacher is not negligent, then the Board will reimburse the teacher up to five hundred dollars ($500.00) for such personal property or effects upon proof of the nature and amount of loss satisfactory to the District.
PROTECTION OF PERSONAL PROPERTY. It is the District’s policy to make every reasonable effort to provide a safe and healthful environment for employees. Employees shall not be required to work under conditions known to be unsafe or hazardous or to perform tasks which endanger their health, safety, or well-being. Employees are responsible for notifying their supervisor/manager regarding any perceived unsafe and/or hazardous conditions.
1. The District shall reimburse an employee for any certified loss of or damage to personal property required in the course of his/her duty, or in transit to or from his/her place of assignment, when such loss or damage is willfully and maliciously inflicted by a student or by persons known/unknown on school premises or while the employee is on duty, subject to the following conditions:
a. The District shall reimburse first dollar losses up to the limit of two hundred fifty dollars ($250). The District shall provide an additional sum of $7,000 annually to cover all International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 609 bargaining units. This sum of money shall be used to provide reimbursement to employees who have a deductible of more than $250 but not more than $500. If, for example, an employee incurs a loss of $450 and he/she has a deductible of $500, then the employee would be reimbursed the first $250 as a general reimbursement, and up to $200 from the $7,000 reserve fund. It is understood that the $7,000 is the maximum obligation on the part of the District in providing reimbursement of claims in excess of $250. Once the fund is exhausted, it shall not be replenished until the following year.
2. There shall be no reimbursement for loss of cash.
3. Personal equipment used for work purposes must have the prior written approval of the Security Manager.
4. There must be proof submitted that the employee has no insurance or that his/her insurance does not cover the damage or loss in question. An employee must exhaust his/her own insurance recovery possibilities before becoming eligible for reimbursement under this Article 11, Section C.
5. There must be filed with the District General Counsel's Office within twenty (20) days after the damage or loss, a Notice of Loss and Claim for Reimbursement form. These forms shall be supplied to all schools.
PROTECTION OF PERSONAL PROPERTY. HRCA is not and will not be liable for loss, theft, or damage of any personal property of Alternative Member or the Related Parties or Guests, including that of property placed in lockers. For this reason, HRCA recommends that Alternative Member and its Related Parties and Guests not bring valuables into any Recreation Facilities. Alternative Member understands that, although HRCA may maintain property insurance, such insurance is solely for the benefit of HRCA.
PROTECTION OF PERSONAL PROPERTY. The District shall reimburse each 13 employee if either of the following occurs while they are discharging their duties in 14 accordance with their job description:

1. The District or its insurer shall reimburse any employee for any certified loss of or damage to personal property necessarily used in the course of duty or in transporting them to/from their assigned work location when such loss or damage is willfully and maliciously inflicted by persons known or unknown on the District's premises or while the employee is on duty, subject to the conditions set forth within this Section 5-D.
2. An employee must exhaust their own insurance recovery possibilities before being eligible for reimbursement under this Section 5-D.
3. The District shall reimburse first-dollar losses up to the limit of the usual two hundred and fifty dollars ($250) insurance deductible, provided that:
a. The employee files a Notice of Loss and Claim for Reimbursement form with the District's General Counsel's Office within twenty (20) calendar days after the damage or loss.
b. There shall be no reimbursement for loss of cash.
c. The use of personal equipment at work must have the prior approval of the employee's supervisor. The personal equipment must be approved by and on record with the Warehouse Manager.
d. The employee submits proof that they either has no insurance or that their insurance does not cover the damage or loss in question.
PROTECTION OF PERSONAL PROPERTY. 35-01 If a nurse sustains a loss of at least $100 to personal property owned by such nurse as a result of vandalism or theft while on school property, then the Committee will reimburse the nurse for 50% of the first $200 of such loss unless the first $200 is covered by insurance. In cases involving damage to automobiles, nurses will be reimbursed up to $200. Such reimbursement shall be made only if the Committee (or its designee) determines that the loss occurred on school property and there was no negligence on the part of the nurse.
PROTECTION OF PERSONAL PROPERTY. The College will not be liable for the loss of money, other valuables, or damage to the property of any resident.
PROTECTION OF PERSONAL PROPERTY. The school will not assume responsibility for the protection of personal property. All books and other personal objects should contain the student’s name and should be stored in a locked locker when not in use.
