Public Holidays and Holiday Work. An employee will be entitled to the following holidays without deduction of pay: Further, an employee will be entitled to any State Act or State declared substitute days or additional days as observed in the particular state or locality. Where the business is situated near a state or territory border and the employer’s operations traverse the border, the employer may elect to follow a particular state or territory's public holidays, subject to agreement with the affected employees.
