Ramp Attendant. Comprises all those who perform any of the following functions: • Load/unload aircraft • Provide services to the aircraft on the ground as required • Assist Customer Service Agents if so required • Assist passengers with mobility and special needs • Perform commissary duties as part of the specialized work function • Daily vehicle/equipment checklist • Required to be qualified and maintain qualification on all ramp equipment • Perform other duties and functions related to the foregoing • Assist Cargo Attendants if so required
Ramp Attendant. Comprises those employees who are engaged in aircraft marshaling; push backs; jet- way operation; loading and unloading of baggage and freight from aircraft; preparation of load advice forms; transferring and distribution of baggage, tie-down and general security of aircraft; de-icing of aircraft; minor light cleaning of aircraft interior including garbage removal and exterior including windscreens, on short turnaround where there are no Cabin Services personnel on the base; loading and unloading disabled passengers; service aircraft lavatory and water; and commissary in YXU, YTZ, YBG, YUY, YVO. Short Turnaround - an aircraft, which has a scheduled turn, to a maximum 30 minutes, not including irregular operations.
Ramp Attendant comprises all those who perform the handling of ramp services, including cargo and commissary functions, de-ice and fuel aircraft, service aircraft lavatory, change aircraft to/from cargo configuration, loading and unloading disabled passengers; minor cleaning of the airport ramp work area, inspect and record fuel supplies; inspect and report defects to airport vehicles; marshal aircraft on the ramp; ensure aircraft is ready for departure; and perform other duties and functions relative to the foregoing. Note 1: Ramp Attendants may be required to perform light grooming of aircraft interior at times when no employee in the Aircraft Cleaner classification, Article 4.05, is scheduled to work in the location. For the purposes of this Note, light grooming will consist of the duties described in Appendix 5. Note 2: In Toronto, Ramp Attendants may perform functions related to commissary inventory and stocking which are normally performed by Stores Personnel and which are not related to ramp services.

  • First Aid Attendants a) Designated First Aid Attendants shall receive their job rate of pay plus the Ticket Premium rate. All other employees holding valid First Aid Tickets shall receive a premium of five cents (5¢) per hour over and above their job rate. There shall be no stacking or pyramiding of premiums.

  • Court Attendance Any employee covered by this Agreement who may be required to attend any commission, court or hearing, to give evidence in any case, civil or criminal respecting the hotel in which they are employed, shall be compensated at the same hourly rate as called for in this Agreement, with a minimum of four (4) hours pay.

  • Classrooms The Board shall be responsible for maintaining a standard of cleanliness in each teacher’s classroom.

  • Driver Training A. All drivers are to be provided with appropriate training and refresher courses each year in the following areas as a minimum: * Proper use of equipment including communications equipment; * Defensive driving; * Emergency and accident procedures; * Identifying unusual passenger behavior; * Student harassment and bullying; * Conducting evacuation drills; * Sensitivity training in working with disabled persons; * Human relation skills in working with parents, school staff, etc; * General vehicle maintenance and pre-trip inspections; and * Map reading and city street coordinates. The Department of Business and Transportation Services may review Contractors’ bus driver training program, upon request.

  • Playground A playground area provided for children twelve years old and younger to play on shall be provided. Each playground must include features that appeal to children within the above age group including some of the following: slides, monkey bars, ladders, tunnels, climbers, bridges, ramps, platforms, etc. All playground equipment must be of commercial grade. Each playground must include a minimum of six (6) features.

  • Catering The IU Auditorium staff may suggest caterers for your event; however, the Licensee will be responsible for paying all catering costs in a timely manner. All caterers in the IU Auditorium must be pre-approved by IU Auditorium Management and possess all valid Indiana licenses for food service and the service of alcoholic beverages (if applicable). The caterer must carry commercial general and auto liability insurance, including a products-completed operations endorsement, with minimum limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence / $2,000,000 Aggregate. If alcohol is being served the caterer must also carry dram shop liability with minimum limits of $3,000,000. Licensee must be in compliance with all other university regulations regarding food service including, but not limited to, completing the University Office of Environmental Health & Safety’s Temporary Food Service application, if necessary. Also, “The Trustees of Indiana University, its officers, agents and employees” must be named as an additional insured on the Certificate of Insurance for both Commercial General Liability and Automobile Liability coverage. The Certificate of Insurance must be submitted to Indiana University for review and approval at least fourteen (14) working days prior to the scheduled date of the event. If Licensee’s vendor/caterer fails to comply with any of the requirements described in this section, the vendor/caterer will not be permitted to serve food or alcohol at the Event and Licensor shall not be responsible for any losses incurred by Licensee or Licensee’s subcontractors as a result of such cancellation. Stage Labor IU Auditorium has an agreement with IATSE Local 618 to provide audio services for all functions in IU Auditorium facilities. Sound and/or lighting requirements must be communicated in writing to the Auditorium Management a minimum of one week before the scheduled event. Sound System If the Licensee has contracted for audio services through another agent (band, outside company, etc.), IU Auditorium reserves the right to assign a member of IATSE Local 618 to be present for the event, in accordance with the governing labor agreement. Box Office Charges IU Auditorium reserves the right to provide ticketing services for all public and private events held at IU Auditorium. All customary charges, including credit card commissions, ticket printing, outlet, and phone commissions are included in the daily facility fee. The final decision as to when tickets will go on sale will be made by the Auditorium Director of Ticketing and Sales in cooperation with Ticketmaster and the Licensee. Facility Fee IU Auditorium collects a facility fee from each ticket sale for any event held at IU Auditorium and places it into a special reserve account. Funds in this account are used for facility capital purchases and improvements. The funds are also used to cover the costs of extraordinary repairs and maintenance. This fee is $3.50 for events where the top ticket price is $15.01 or higher. The fee is $2.50 for events where the top ticket price is $15.00 or lower. Pre-box Ticket Sales IU departments or organizations must first complete a Revenue Producing Activity training before pre-box tickets may be sold by any members of the organization. Non-IU departments or organizations may only sell pre-box tickets using cash or check.
