Irregular Operations. Flights that do not operate in accordance with the published schedule because of circumstances such as weather, maintenance delays, cancellations, crew shortages, misconnects, air traffic control, or similar circumstances within the system, as well as natural disasters, sabotage, hijacking, bomb threat, or actual bomb, terrorist attacks and/or acts of war.
Irregular Operations. The misconnect and denied boarding benefits provided by Mesa to passengers (each, a “Misconnect Benefit Package”) shall be similar in amount and scope to those offered by AWA in similar circumstances and geographic areas (the “AWA Standards”). AWA shall not be required to reimburse Mesa for any Misconnect Benefit Package which is in excess of the AWA Standards.

Jet Bridge Trade: A trade between Flight Attendants at the same domicile. In which they trade or give away a sequence or portion of a sequence at any station no earlier than three (3) hours prior to departure for domestic and international flights, but no later than the commencement of boarding. SIPs are not considered a Jet Bridge Trade.

Irregular Operations. A may be removed or displaced from a flight or flights in his block, removed from his monthly assignment and reassigned to another flight or to another or duty as outlined below for the purpose of providing relief during irregular 'operations or as a result of the Company's training requirements. A pilot affected by the provisions of this Article will be returned to his normal assignment-as soon as practicable. Notwithstanding the provisions of Articles and a pilot will not be considered displaced or removed from his flight except when he is legal and in position to operate that flight. Removal From a-Block Selection A pilot may be removed from his complete block selection at Company request and assigned to reserve duty or another block on the same and in the same status. A pilot who is assigned to duty will stand reserve only on the calen- dar days on which he would have been working according to his block. Such reserve days will be designated as being from to midnight, inclusive or as agreed locally. The forty-eight hour designated off-duty periods while on reserve will coincide with the designated off-duty periods of the block from which he was removed. If a pilot is called for duty during such a reserve duty period and to operate a flight or flights that extend into what would normally have been days-off, reinstate- ment of time off will be made on return to home base. If the days off cannot be reinstated before the month ends, the pilot will not be required to operate the flight(s). For pay purposes only, a pilot who is removed from his complete block selections as described in and shall be paid for the flights in the block from which he is removed as if they had been flown according to schedule, his actual flying pay, or his minimum guarantee, whichever is the greater. For time limitations such pilot will be credited with accumulated accumulated actual time whichever is the greater. A pilot, holding a block selection who is assigned to reserve duty under the terms of and shall be permit- xxx to enter his name in makeup and take open flying to increase his block flying time projection within the limita- tions of Article provided he would have been legal for such flying if still assigned to his original block selec- tion.
