Rate of Pay on Promotion or Reclassification. An Employee assigned, promoted or reclassified to a higher paying position carrying a single rate of pay shall receive the rate of pay and benefits for that position for the time she performs that job. The date of promotion to the new classification shall become the anniversary date for application of the salary progression.
Rate of Pay on Promotion or Reclassification. An employee promoted or reclassified in accordance with this Collective Agreement to a higher paying position carrying a single rate of pay shall receive the rate of pay and benefits for that position.
Rate of Pay on Promotion or Reclassification. When an employee is promoted or reclassified to a higher paying position, the employee will receive the rate for the position of a single salary, or, in the case of positions on a salary range, will receive the rate in the salary range which is two steps higher than the employee's previous rate or the minimum of the new range, whichever is greater.
Rate of Pay on Promotion or Reclassification. An employee promoted or reclassified to a higher paying position shall be paid at a higher rate of salary than his/her previous rate effective upon assignment.

When an employee is promoted or reclassified to a higher paying position, the employee will receive the rate of pay which is the next highest rate in the new scale. When an employee is reclassified upward or promoted the date of such change will alter the increment date. However, should the increase in salary be less than the value of an increment on the scale from which the employee has moved, the increment date will not change.

An employee temporarily assigned in excess of five (5) consecutive working days to a higher paying position carrying a single rate of pay shall receive the rate of pay and benefits for that position for the time she/he performs that job. In the case of promotion or reclassification, the employee shall immediately receive the higher rate of pay.
Rate of Pay on Promotion or Reclassification. (a) Where a seniority employee is promoted or temporarily assigned to a position classified at a higher flat rate of pay, she/he shall receive the rate for the job.
(b) If an absence occurs requiring a temporary replacement for a Senior Secondary School Secretary, and the replacement is approved by the Manager of Human Resources, the next most senior secretary in the same building shall have the opportunity to replace the absent Senior Secretary. When a school secretary assumes the position of Senior Secondary School Secretary, she/he shall receive the rate for the job.
Rate of Pay on Promotion or Reclassification. 24.01 An employee assigned, promoted, or reclassified in accordance with the Collective Agreement to a higher paying position or classification, shall be placed on the wage grid in accordance with experience and qualifications, but in no case shall the employee receive less than her previous rate. The date of promotion to the new classification shall become the anniversary date for application of the salary progression.
24.02 The Employer will advise the Union of its proposed rate for the new position prior to the rate being set. The rate of pay for new positions shall then be subject to negotiations between the Employer and the Union. The new rate shall become retroactive to the time the new position was first filled by the employee.
Rate of Pay on Promotion or Reclassification. An employee promoted or reclassified in accordance with this Collective Agreement to a higher paying position carrying a single rate of pay shall receive the rate of pay and benefits for that position. An employee promoted or reclassified in accordance with this Collective Agreement to a higher paying position carrying a salary range shall be placed at a rate equal to or greater than one (1) full increment (two percent [2%]) increase in their previous salary range or at the base of the range for the new position, whichever is greater.

An employee temporarily assigned in excess of 20 working days to a higher paying position carrying a single rate of pay shall receive the rate of pay and benefits for that position for the time they perform that job. In the case of promotion or reclassification, the employee shall immediately receive the higher rate of pay. An employee temporarily assigned, promoted or reclassified to a higher pay position carrying a salary range shall be placed in an experience grade in the new classification which is at least 4% higher than the employee's previous rate. The date of promotion to the new classification shall become the anniversary date for application of the salary progression.
