Replacing or Repairing Employee’s Property. The Office shall fully compensate all bargaining unit employees for loss of or damage to personal property used in the course of employment pursuant to Section 8.1.2 above, if the Office is deemed negligent.
Replacing or Repairing Employee’s Property. The Office shall compensate all bargaining unit employees for loss or damage to personal property up to two hundred and fifty dollars ($250.00) if damaged in the course of employment. Articles include eye glasses, watches and other related type items.
Replacing or Repairing Employee’s Property. The District shall replace or repair all bargaining unit employee’s property as provided under Education Code Section 1301. (Examples are: Eyeglasses, hearing aids, watches, dentures, etc.)
Replacing or Repairing Employee’s Property. The school district does not require employees to use personal property in the course of employment. If the school district authorizes the utilization of personal property by registering said property with the site administrator prior to bringing it onto campus, the property will be insured by the school district during the time of use but will be exempt from replacement due to normal wear and tear and/or age of the property.

The Yolo County Office of Education shall reimburse employees for any loss, damage or destruction of personal equipment, with the exception of hand tools or other equipment normally provided by the employees in the course of their duties, if such equipment has been approved for use by the employee’s supervisor prior to loss, damage, or destruction. Should any employee suffer destruction or damage to eyeglasses as a result of student behavior, YCOE shall reimburse the employee for replacement costs not covered by insurance on receipt of proof that loss occurred as a result of such behavior.

Replacing or Repairing Employee’s Property. 12 The Office shall compensate all bargaining unit employees 13 for loss or damage to personal property up to one hundred 14 ($100) dollars while damaged in the course of employment.
Replacing or Repairing Employee’s Property. The District shall compensate all 39 bargaining unit employees for loss or damage to personal clothing and property 40 arising from an on-the-job accident which is formally reported to Business Services 41 on the appropriate form. (Bodily injury is not necessary to qualify for this benefit.) 42 Upon proper submission of the claim and approval by the Chief Business and 43 Financial Officer, the claim shall be paid according to the commercial warrant cycle 44 for such claims. As per Labor Code, Section 3208, personal property is defined as: 45 artificial members; dentures; hearing aids; eyeglasses; watches; and medical braces 46 of all types.

The District shall compensate all 41 bargaining unit employees for loss or damage to personal clothing and property 42 arising from an on-the-job accident which is formally reported to Business Services 43 on the appropriate form. Loss will be determined on the basis of standard insurance 44 depreciation tables. (Bodily injury is not necessary to qualify for this benefit.) 45 Upon proper submission of the claim and approval by the Chief Business and 46 Financial Officer, the claim shall be paid according to the commercial warrant cycle 1 for such claims.
