EMPLOYEE EXPENSES AND MATERIALS. 6.1 Uniforms: The District shall pay the full cost of the purchase, lease, rental, cleaning, and maintenance of rental uniforms, equipment, identification badges, emblems, and cards required by the District to be worn or used by employees.

EMPLOYEE EXPENSES AND MATERIALS. A. Uniforms The District shall pay the full cost of the purchase, lease, or rental of uniforms, identification badges, emblems, and cards required by the District. Quantity limited to maximum 3-5 shirts, trousers and/or coveralls annually. Employees other than Transportation mechanics who are provided uniforms are expected to provide routine care and maintenance on those items. Routine care and maintenance will be provided for uniforms for Transportation mechanics. All employees who are provided uniforms will be expected to wear said uniforms. Uniforms remain the property of the District and must be returned to the employee’s supervisor when they leave the District or transfer to another department or school within the District.
EMPLOYEE EXPENSES AND MATERIALS. 11.1 Uniforms -- The District shall pay the full cost of the purchase, lease, rental, cleaning and maintenance of uniform, equipment, identification badges, and cards if required by the District to be worn or used by the bargaining unit employees. 11.2 Tools -- The District agrees to provide all tools, equipment, and supplies reasonably necessary to bargaining unit employees with the exception of mechanics in the Transpor- tation department, for performance of employment duties. For those mechanics in the Transportation Department, the District agrees to provide all specialty tools, metric tools, equipment, and supplies reasonably necessary for the performance of employment duties. Employees who have authorization to use their own tools and equipment in the course of their employment shall have such tools or equipment lost or broken on the job replaced with like kind by the District.

This provision applies only to required district uniforms and does not apply to general clothing requirements which may be required as appropriate for particular positions. EMPLOYEE EXPENSES AND MATERIALS. Employees assigned to use their own automobiles in the performance of their duties, and employees who travel to multiple school sites within the County during a single workday, except for the Annual Back to School Staff Orientation Day, the beginning point for recording mileage will be the shorter of either (1) the actual mileage from the employee’s home to the first work location, or (2) the mileage from a designatedwork base” to the first work location. The ending point for recording mileage will be the shorter of either (1) the actual mileage from the final work location to the employee’s home, or (2) the mileage from the final work location to the designated “work base.” Administrative Regulation No. 2214.2A
EMPLOYEE EXPENSES AND MATERIALS. 9.1 The District shall pay the full cost of the purchase, lease, or rental of uniforms, equipment, identification badges, emblems, aprons, hairnets, and cards required by the District to be worn or used by employees. 9.2 The District agrees to provide all tools, equipment, and supplies reasonably necessary for performance of work assignments. 9.3 The District shall compensate an employee for loss, damage, or destruction of personal property, excluding vehicles, not to exceed $225.00 per year, in the course of employment, by arson, burglary or vandalism. Employee must file a report with the police. 9.4 The District agrees to provide the full cost of any medical examination required as a condition of continued employment. 9.4.1 Bus drivers are expected to take the annual physical, provided through the health and welfare program, and include the bus driver certification as part of their physical examination. The District will reimburse a maximum of $125.00 if an employee cannot coordinate with the annual physical coverage included with any Health and Welfare Benefit coverage of the employee or employee’s spouse. 9.5 The District, upon the request of an employee, will provide for the defense of any civil action or proceeding brought against him/her in his/her official or individual capacity or both, on account of an act or omission in the scope of his/her employment as an employee of the District provided that: a) the employee was serving within the scope of his/her employment; b) the employee was not engaged in a fraudulent, corrupt, or malicious action; or c) this provision in no way implies that the District is responsible for providing for the defense of an employee in a proceeding brought by the District against the employee or for the defense of an employee in an administrative proceeding.
