Student Behavior. 1. The School District and CWU shall independently have and exercise jurisdiction over academic and disciplinary matters involving a student's enrollment and participation in courses, and the receipt of services and benefits from the School District or CWU.
2. Student conduct will be governed by the high school’s policies and expectations as it pertains to the student’s physical actions and presence in the classroom and in the school during the College in the High School course offered at the high school class period. The CWU academic integrity policy and course syllabus will govern the student’s academic performance, expectations, and standards. Student Behavior. The STUDENT agrees to strictly abide by all federal, state, and local laws, all UNIVERSITY policy and procedures, including the Dominican University Student Handbook, the Student Code of Conduct, and all Residence Hall Policies and Guidelines. The UNIVERSITY reserves the right to terminate this contract for any violation of UNIVERSITY policy (Section II:D herein).
1. The STUDENT agrees that the UNIVERSITY may, from time to time and without prior notice, promulgate and enforce additional rules and regulations which may be reasonably necessary or appropriate for the safety, care and cleanliness of the room or residence hall, the general operation of the UNIVERSITY, or for the general welfare of the residents, and the STUDENT agrees to observe such rules and regulations.
2. The STUDENT agrees to respect the rights, privileges, and property of all members of the UNIVERSITY community. The STUDENT agrees to refrain from doing anything that acts as a detriment to themselves, others, or the community.
3. If the STUDENT violates this section of the contract, the STUDENT understands and agrees that disciplinary action may be taken by the UNIVERSITY, including the termination of this contract, dismissal from the UNIVERSITY, or exclusion from on-campus housing, in which event the STUDENT shall vacate the assigned room within 48 hours notice. The STUDENT shall remain financially responsible for all payments of room and board until the end of the contract period or until the UNIVERSITY secures a replacement, whichever occurs first.
Student Behavior. (a) The schools are established for the benefit of all students. The educational purpose of the schools is accomplished best in a climate of student behavior that is socially acceptable and conducive to the learning and teaching process. Behavior that disrupts this process or that infringes upon the rights of other individuals will not be tolerated.
(b) The Board reaffirms its support of the administrative and teaching staff in taking all steps lawful and necessary to enforce and implement all Board policies and regulations pertaining to control of student behavior. Important among these policies are those in the areas of conduct, suspensions, expulsions, and general learning climate as outlined in the Code of Conduct. The teachers will at all times follow and enforce the Directives of the Superintendent and/or policies of the Board regarding these matters.
Student Behavior. Students enrolled at the School will be required to follow the OP Code of Student Conduct as presented in its proposal to operate the School and attached as Addendum 6. OP agrees that it will not modify expulsion provisions without consent of TISD and agrees to notify TISD of any other modification at least 60 days in advance of implementation.
Student Behavior. In determining readiness for Dual Enrollment Program, factors such as the student’s previous secondary school attendance and disciplinary records will be considered. Dual Enrolled students are expected to follow the same behavioral guidelines as all B-CU students. Information about behavioral guidelines for B-CU students can be found in the Student Handbook in print or online. A link to the Student Handbook can found at xxx.xxxxxxx.xxx. Students who violate the University Code of Conduct will be referred to Judicial Affairs for possible disciplinary action.
Student Behavior. The Board, the Administration, and the faculty recognize a shared responsibility to maintain control and discipline of students who are engaged in school activities. The Board and the Administration agree to give reasonable support and assistance to all faculty members in this respect. Similarly, all faculty members accept professional responsibility for actively participating in the maintenance of respect for school rules and regulations, and respect for all members of the school community.
Student Behavior. Students enrolled at the School will be required to follow MISD’s Code of Student Conduct. OP reserves the right to develop its own Code of Student Conduct. OP agrees that it will not modify expulsion provisions without prior notification to MISD. OP agrees to notify MISD of any change to its expulsion provisions or other modification in writing at least 60 days in advance of implementation. OP agrees that a student shall not be suspended or expelled from the School for attendance or academic performance reasons. Any student assigned to a School can be placed in a MISD alternative setting through a process similar to the process used for all other students in the District. MISD and OP will work in good faith to implement this process fairly and effectively.
Student Behavior a. At the beginning of each school year, the DISTRICT and the school site will provide Bargaining Unit Members with procedures and protocols for student discipline. This shall be provided in digital form.
b. Any physical abuse, assault, or battery upon a Bargaining Unit Member at their PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT, shall be reported by Bargaining Unit Members to their immediate supervisor and the appropriate law enforcement agency.
(1) Such notification shall be forwarded to the Superintendent or designee.
(2) The DISTRICT shall take appropriate actions as soon as possible whenever a Bargaining Unit Member is abused, battered, or assaulted by another person or persons at their PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT.
(3) When a student is involved in the abuse, assault, or battery of a Bargaining Unit Member, appropriate actions taken by the DISTRICT must include, but not be limited to, the student being counseled before being returned to class, and may include escalation to expulsion proceedings.
c. The Bargaining Unit Member shall be informed of all appropriate actions taken and notified of any hearings or meetings that occur as a result. Including, but not limited to, suspension and expulsion hearings.
Student Behavior. 5.1. Each student: − must behave properly and correctly, in the spirit of collaboration and education, with all staff, faculty and fellow students; − must demonstrate respect to the school and its facilities, and to the equipment and operations of the school. Any behavior that leads to disrespect towards or damage to any operations or facilities will result in consequences, possibly material and academic, including fines for such behavior, suspension, and/or recovery of costs this behavior provoked; − must follow the directions of faculty wherever applicable; − be respectful of recycling demands, disposing of trash in appropriate receptacles, both recyclable and otherwise, and not leave the school in a disorderly condition at any time; − observe the organizational, security and health issues the school requires.
Student Behavior. Each building shall have a student handbook mutually developed by the administration and faculty of the building in conjunction with Board Policy. A Code of Conduct shall be mutually developed by the administration and Association in conjunction with Board Policy and consistent with Ohio Law. This manual shall outline the appropriate and expected student behavior while attending school. The rules of student behavior and penalties for their violation shall be provided to every student annually.
