In the maintenance of a sound learning environment, the District shall expect acceptable behavior on the part of all students who attend schools in the District. It is the responsibility of each employee to maintain discipline within his/her classroom or work station. Discipline shall be enforced fairly and consistently regardless of race, creed, sex or status. Such discipline shall be consistent with applicable federal and state laws and District regulations and policies.

Prior to the first day of school, the administration will review the building’s discipline procedures/protocols/matrix with teachers, including the regulations for classroom exclusion under RCW28A.600.020
