MISCELLANEOUS EMPLOYEE ENTITLEMENTS. 17.01 Employee Attendance at Staff Meetings Where an employee is required by the Employer to attend a staff meeting during their regular working hours, the employee shall be compensated at their regular hourly rate for the time spent in such attendance. An employee who is required to attend a staff meeting is not entitled to claim overtime pay for such attendance, unless the time spent in the meeting results in the employee working more than eight (8) hours in a day, or more than forty (40) hours in a week. Where an employee is required by the Employer to attend a staff meeting during their regular days off, the employee shall be compensated at their regular hourly rate for the time spent in such meeting, for a minimum of two (2) hours pay.
