Safety Supervisor a) On every job site, where the Company is the principal contractor it shall appoint a member of its staff to act as the Safety Supervisor. The Safety Supervisor shall be given the necessary authority to ensure that all safety laws, procedures or Codes of Practice are observed, and that the following Safety Agreement is applied. b) The person appointed shall be experienced in the work being performed. Other duties may be assigned by the Company to a Safety Supervisor, provided that such duties shall not prevent him/her from exercising his/her duties as a Safety Supervisor.

Safety Supervisor. A Safety supervisor shall be provided by the awarded contractor. Said supervisor shall be 19A Certified Examiner and a SED approved SBDI. This supervisor’s responsibilities will include but not limited to driver training, qualifications, drug testing , compliance, daily oversight to insure adherences to established practices and safety regulations, on the road driver performances and related functions. The safety supervisor shall also respond to all accidents involving RCSD vehicles transporting students, and filing all necessary reports. The District shall have the right to require VENDOR to replace any safety supervisor who does not have the qualifications to perform the job duties, or who is otherwise not reasonably acceptable to the District.

Safety Supervisor. The Contractor shall provide safety and driver training to the staff serving the Board through a safety supervisor. If deemed necessary by the Board, this person will personally travel a route with the assigned driver at least once a year to survey not only the Vehicle Operator’s performance but also to evaluate route hazards and equipment efficiency.
