KEY RESPONSIBILITIES. The following objects of local government will inform the Head of Department Technical Services performance against set performance indicators:- Provide democratic and accountable government for local communities; Ensure the provision of services to communities in a sustainable manner; Promote social and economic development; Promote a safe and healthy environment; Encourage the involvement of communities and community organisations in the matters of local government.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES. Provide support and advice to the Head of Learning Area, teaching staff and Laboratory Technicians Level 1 (if present) to ensure that curriculum requirements are met. • Provide advice on suitable experiments, and/or demonstrations to support teaching and curriculum outcomes for science classes. • Prepare chemicals, equipment and materials, design and construct teaching aids, and collect and care for living organisms for study purposes in compliance with chemical, physical and biological laboratory practices and legislative requirements. • Organise preparation areas and classroom laboratories and undertake general housekeeping of chemicals, equipment (including repairs and maintenance) and other resources. • Manage laboratory stocks, including ordering of supplies and equipment, liaison with suppliers, and completion of annual stock-takes, complying with Departmental guidelines. • Provide advice on safe use, documentation, storage, handling, maintenance and disposal of science equipment, chemicals and biological materials. • Assist with coordinating the science budget, including monitoring expenditure, providing advice as required, and managing ▇▇▇▇▇ cash and business card accounts in accordance with Departmental financial guidelines. • Induct and train Level 1 Technicians (if present) and induct new science teachers in the safe use of chemicals and equipment, if required. • Assist with the selection of new and relieving laboratory technicians.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES. Objective – to provide clarity on certain key responsibilities and roles of the parties 2.1 Must secure an EYFE place for every eligible child in its area. 2.2 Will work in partnership with providers to determine and agree how the obligations to deliver EYFE places will best be met including discussion with the Provider in respect of their proposed Annual Core Offer. 2.3 Will be clear about its role and the support offered locally to meet the needs of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) as well as its expectations of the Provider as set out in the Special educational needs and disability code of practice: 0 to 25 years January 2015. 2.4 Must contribute to safeguarding and promote the welfare of children in the City of Brighton and Hove (the ‘City’). 2.5 Will store and manage data in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018. 2.6 Must comply with all relevant legislation, guidance and regulations, including additional government guidance issued in relation to specific circumstances, including but not limited to the provisions set out in clause1.3. 2.7 Must take out and maintain all insurance necessary including to meet Ofsted insurance requirements. 2.8 Should ensure that EYFE is delivered fairly, transparently and in accordance with this Agreement, the underlying legislation and government guidance. The Provider should deliver EYFE consistently to all parents including quality and access, whether in receipt of 15 or 30 hours and regardless of whether or not the parent chooses additional paid private hours, and optional services or consumables. This means that the Provider should be transparent and communicate to parents and prospective parents details of days and times that they offer EYFE, along with any optional hours, services and consumables. 2.9 Must follow the Early years foundation stage (EYFS) statutory framework - ▇▇▇.▇▇ (▇▇▇.▇▇▇.▇▇) and have clear safeguarding policies and procedures in accordance with BHCC guidance for recognising, responding, reporting and recording suspected or actual abuse (see clause 3). If requested the Provider must give BHCC full access to its safeguarding policies and procedures to demonstrate compliance. The Provider is also required to update its policies and procedures to take account of any changes in statutory requirements and to work collaboratively with BHCC to improve any areas where shortcomings have been identified. 2.10 Must have arrangements in place to support children with SEN...

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES. SINA will promote DIT via the Co-Branded Content and provide appropriate links to DIT sites that permit users of the SINA site to navigate directly to the homepages on the DIT sites. Both parties will ensure that the Co-Branded Content is accessible to SINA Users. SINA and DIT shall make best efforts to deliver and launch the Co-Branded Content and make effective the links no later than sixty (60) days following the Effective Date.
