Salary increment progression. The following provisions will apply: (a) Salary progression to the next increment level will occur upon the completion of twelve months service since the last incremental anniversary date. (b) A teacher who holds an approved four-year degree qualification, or holds an approved three-year qualification approved by ACECQA or VIT and was employed before 17 February 2006, may proceed to a maximum of level 3.6 subject to achieving validation from level 2.5 to level 3.1, in accordance with clause 50. (c) A teacher who does not hold a four-year degree qualification may progress to a maximum of level 2.5. (d) A teacher that translated from level 3.1 to 3.2 (in accordance with clause 49.6) at the commencement of the agreement, will be eligible to salary progress to the next increment (level 3.3) on or after the completion of twelve months service at level 3.2. (e) A Preschool Field Officer or Advisor must complete 2 years of service at their existing level to be eligible to progress to PSFO/Advisor level 2.

Salary increment progression. The following provisions will apply for Certificate III Educators, Additional Assistants, Diploma Educators and Activity Groups Leaders: (a) Salary progression to the next increment level will occur upon the completion of twelve months’ service from the last incremental anniversary date. (b) Certificate III Educators and Additional Assistants who do not hold a Certificate Ill in Children's Services and who are employed after the commencement of the Agreement cannot progress beyond level 1.2 of the Educators scale. (c) Certificate III Educators and Additional Assistants who do not hold a Certificate III in Children’s Services and who were employed prior to the commencement of the Agreement cannot progress beyond level 1.3 of the Educators scale. (d) Additional Assistants or Educators who hold a Certificate Ill in Children's Services, equivalent or higher qualification appointed to a Certificate Ill position may progress to level 1.6 of the Educators scale. (e) Certificate III Educators employed at level 1.5 shall increment to level 1.6 on or after 1 July 2021, provided they have completed twelve months’ service at level 1.5. (f) Diploma qualified educators employed at level 2.1 shall increment to level 2.2 on or after 1 July 2021 provided they have completed twelve months’ service level at Level 2.1. (g) Diploma qualified educators employed at level 2.2 shall increment to level 2.3 on or after 1 July 2022 provided they have completed twelve months’ service level at Level 2.2.
Salary increment progression. This clause excludes Senior Executive Officers. i. All employees other than those at the end of their salary band, will be eligible for a salary increment, unless they have been advised in writing that this would not occur based on not satisfying the requirements as set out in clause 24 (d) iii. ii. For employees who are eligible for a salary increment, payment will be effective from their anniversary date of employment or a changed salary review date. iii. Any increase to renumeration will be dependent upon the achievement of the following: • Satisfactory service over the preceding twelve months in accordance with the employer’s PDP Process; • Undertaking of agreed training; • Acquisition of agreed competencies; and • Demonstration of the Cardinia Values and Behaviours Framework. iv. In respect to the achievement of objectives identified through the employer’s PDP process, factors outside the control of the employee shall be taken into consideration in determining incremental progression pay increases.

  • Salary Increments The Employer may grant an increment for meritorious service after an Employee has served for a period of twelve (12) months following the day established in Article 25.07 or twelve (12) months following the date of a change in his rate of compensation as established in Articles 25.04, 25.05, or 25.06.

  • Incremental Progression Three (3) Year Trained Teacher - Professional Development (a) Notwithstanding the provisions of paragraph 7.1.4 (f), a 3 year trained teacher may apply for progression by annual increments from Proficient 4 to 8 subject to the following conditions: (i) completion of at least twelve (12) months service on Proficient 4; (ii) participation in one hundred and fifty (150) hours of accredited professional development activities to be achieved at an annual average rate of not less than thirty (30) hours (five (5) days) and to be undertaken outside the hours engaged in teaching; and (iii) provision of a statement outlining the knowledge and skills acquired through participation in professional development. (b) Applications for progression identified in paragraph 7.1.6 (a) shall be made through the principal of the school and be subject to assessment and recommendation to the school authority by a panel consisting of: (i) a representative of the school authority; (ii) a representative of the teacher seeking progression; (iii) a representative jointly agreed to. (c) Applications for progression identified in paragraph 7.1.6 (a) shall include: (i) certification of participation in accredited professional development activities by activity providers; and (ii) a brief statement on a standard agreed, outlining the additional knowledge and skills acquired and their application in the teacher's work. (d) No teacher shall be required to undergo classroom or other inspection for the purposes of certification. (e) The review panel identified in paragraph 7.1.6 (b) shall make a recommendation to the employing authority as to whether in its opinion the teacher has satisfied the eligibility criteria in clause 7.1.6 (a). (f) A teacher who is assessed by the review panel as having satisfied the requirements contained in clause 7.1.6 (a) shall be entitled to progress to the next incremental pay step (Proficient 4 to 8 as appropriate) effective from their date of application or on the completion of twelve (12) months' service on their current incremental step (whichever is the later).

  • Annual Increments ‌ 12.1 Employees will proceed to the maximum of their salary range by annual increments, after 12 months’ continuous service at each increment point, unless there is an adverse report on the Employee's performance or conduct which recommends the non-payment of an annual increment. 12.2 The following process will apply where a report on an Employee’s performance or conduct recommends the non-payment of an annual increment: (a) The Employee will be shown the report prior to completing 12 months’ continuous service since their last incremental advance; (b) The Employee will be provided with an opportunity to comment in writing; (c) The Employee’s comments will be considered immediately by the Employer and a decision made as to whether to approve the payment of the increment or withhold payment for a specific period; and (d) Where the increment is withheld, the Employer before the expiry of the specified period will complete a further report and the above provisions will apply. 12.3 The non-payment of an increment will not change the normal anniversary date of any further increment payments. 12.4 For the purposes of this clause "continuous service", except where an increment is payable according to age, will not include any period: (a) exceeding 14 calendar days during which an Employee is absent on Leave Without Pay. In the case of leave without pay which exceeds 14 calendar days the entire period of such Leave Without Pay is excised in full; (b) which exceeds six (6) months in one continuous period during which an Employee is absent on workers' compensation. Provided that only that portion of such continuous absence which exceeds six (6) months will not count as "continuous service"; and (c) which exceeds three (3) months in one (1) continuous period during which an Employee is absent on Personal Leave without pay. Provided that only that portion of such continuous absence which exceeds three (3) months will not count as "continuous service".

  • Salary Progression 1. For the purposes of determining annual progression from one step to the next, each teacher’s performance will be assessed annually against the appropriate professional standards. 2. When setting performance expectations and development objective(s) with individual teachers for the coming year, the appropriate professional standards against which the teacher is to be assessed should be confirmed between the teacher and the employer. 3. For each teacher to progress annually to their next salary step they will need to demonstrate that they meet the appropriate professional standards.

  • Longevity Increments 11.6.1 Each regular classified employee shall receive a two-range increase (5%) upon completion of five (5) years of satisfactory and continuous service. This increase will become effective at the beginning of the sixth year. 11.6.2 Each regular classified employee shall receive an additional two-range increase (5%) upon completion of ten (10) years of satisfactory and continuous service. This increase will become effective at the beginning of the eleventh year. 11.6.3 Each regular classified employee shall receive an additional two-range increase (5%) upon completion of fifteen (15) years of satisfactory and continuous service. This in-crease will become effective at the beginning of the sixteenth year.

  • Annual Increases On each anniversary of Employee's termination from employment, any remaining amounts to be paid during the next year pursuant to this Paragraph 9 shall be increased to an amount equal to one hundred ten percent (110%) of the amounts required to be paid by Employer hereunder under the provisions of this Paragraph 9 during the preceding year.

  • Increment Date for Salary Grid Placement Upon achieving one (1) year of experience, an increment shall be awarded on the first of the month following the month in which the experience accumulation is earned.

  • Benefit Increases Benefit payments may be increased as provided in Section 2.1.3.
