SCHEMATIC DESIGN AND ENVIRONMENTAL. The work to be performed by the Engineer shall consist of providing preliminary engineering services for development of a schematic design layout and environmental studies in support of the schematic work including public involvement, permit procurement, data collection analysis, mitigation and remediation, monitoring, traffic engineering and operations, and surveying for a highway project located within the State of Texas. The Engineer shall complete the services to be provided by the Engineer according to the milestone work schedule established for each phase of the project. The Engineer shall submit a written progress report to the State monthly indicating the actual work accomplished during the month, scheduled work to be accomplished for that month, and the estimated work to be accomplished for the coming month. The progress report will use a bar chart diagram to indicate the percentage complete of each task shown on the previous report and the percentage complete of each tasks. The Engineer is required to meet with the designated State project manager or environmental coordinator as needed for progress tracking purposes unless prior agreement is made with State not to hold a meeting in any given month. The Engineer shall submit minutes of the meeting summarizing the events of the meeting within seven calendar days after each meeting. The Engineer shall prepare a project work schedule using Primavera P6 software. The work schedule must incorporate an allocation of time for stage reviews of the developing schematic design and the environmental documents by State personnel. The Engineer shall present the work schedule to the State personnel for review and acceptance, and provide assistance in interpreting the proposed work schedule.

  • Working Environment The Parties agree that a safe and clean working environment is essential in order to carry out work assignments in a satisfactory manner. It will be the Employer's responsibility to ensure that all working areas and Employer-owned vehicles are maintained in a safe and clean condition.

  • Safe Working Environment ACM does everything reasonably possible to provide a safe working environment for all of its stakeholders including Suppliers and its own employees and agents. ACM does not tolerate offensive, abusive, bullying, discriminatory or otherwise unlawful behaviour or any form of harassment (“Offending Behaviour”). If a Supplier engages in Offending Behaviour, ACM may suspend or terminate this Milk Supply Agreement.

  • Solicitations for Subcontracts, Including Procurement of Materials and Equipment In all solicitation, either by competitive bidding or negotiation, made by the Contractor for work to be performed under a subcontract, including procurement of materials or leases of equipment, each potential Subcontractor or supplier shall be notified by the Contractor of the Contractor’s obligations under this Agreement and the Regulations relative to non-discrimination on the grounds of race, color, or national origin.

  • Work Environment It is mutually agreed that the prevention of accidents and injuries to state employees will result in greater efficiency of operations of state government. Toward this end, the Employer shall make every reasonable effort to provide and maintain safe and healthy working conditions and the Union shall fully cooperate by encouraging all employees to perform their assigned tasks in a safe manner.

  • Management of Special and Technical Environment Each certificated support person demonstrates an acceptable level of performance in managing and organizing the special materials, equipment and environment essential to the specialized programs.

  • Geological and Archeological Specimens If, during the execution of the Work, the Contractor, any Subcontractor, or any servant, employee, or agent of either should uncover any valuable material or materials, such as, but not limited to, treasure trove, geological specimens, archival material, archeological specimens, or ore, the Contractor acknowledges that title to the foregoing is vested in the Owner. The Contractor shall notify the Owner upon the discovery of any of the foregoing, shall take reasonable steps to safeguard it, and seek further instruction from the Design Professional. Any additional cost incurred by the Contractor shall be addressed under the provision for changed conditions. The Contractor agrees that the Geological and Water Resources Division and the Historic Preservation Division of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources may inspect the Work at reasonable times.

  • Interconnection Facilities Engineering Procurement and Construction Interconnection Facilities, Network Upgrades, and Distribution Upgrades shall be studied, designed, and constructed pursuant to Good Utility Practice. Such studies, design and construction shall be based on the assumed accuracy and completeness of all technical information received by the Participating TO and the CAISO from the Interconnection Customer associated with interconnecting the Large Generating Facility.

  • Operating Environment Subscriber is solely responsible for acquiring, installing, operating and maintaining the hardware, software and Internet Browser environment necessary to access the Site and use the Services. Information on operating environment requirements can be located on the Site.
