Section 5 - Meetings. 1. Upon request of either party, Association representative(s) shall meet with the superintendent and/or his/her designated representatives at a scheduled monthly meeting to review and discuss matters covered by this Agreement, general employee/District relations, hiring decisions with staff input and matters that affect instructional effectiveness (such as class size, instructional materials, supplies, building conditions, support services, etc.). Such meetings may be postponed or canceled by either party if mutually agreed. These meetings are not intended to bypass administrative channels or the grievance procedure.
Section 5 - Meetings. ‌ 2 Meetings are time spent on a voluntary basis doing committee work and are 3 paid for actual time attended. Meeting time is not included in the calculation 4 of overtime, but it does accrue PTO and ESL hours. Examples of meetings 5 include Benefits Committee, PNCC, Labor Management Committee, Charge 6 Nurse Retreat, and unit meetings.
Section 5 - Meetings. Employees may be required to remain after the end of the regular workday without additional compensation, for the purpose of attending faculty or other school level professional meetings, no more than four (4) per calendar month. Such meetings shall begin no later than fifteen (15) minutes after the student dismissal time and shall run no more than sixty (60) minutes, except in case of emergency. Every effort shall be made not to call such meetings on Friday, or any other day immediately preceding a holiday, break, or other day upon which employees' attendance is not required at school. By the end of the first week of the school year, the principal/administrator shall notify the employees of the regular schedule for faculty meetings. Within the first 30 days of the school year, the principal/administrator shall notify the employees of dates and time for in-service/professional development days held during the school year. This shall not preclude the principal/administrator from calling faculty meetings necessitated by an emergency situation. The notice of such meetings shall be given to educators involved prior to the meeting, except in cases of emergency. Employees shall have the opportunity to suggest items for the agenda. At least one (1) working day notice should be given before such meetings are convened.

  • TAC Meetings The goal of this subtask is for the TAC to provide strategic guidance for the project by participating in regular meetings, which may be held via teleconference. The Recipient shall: • Discuss the TAC meeting schedule with the CAM at the Kick-off meeting. Determine the number and location of meetings (in-person and via teleconference) in consultation with the CAM. • Prepare a TAC Meeting Schedule that will be presented to the TAC members during recruiting. Revise the schedule after the first TAC meeting to incorporate meeting comments. • Prepare a TAC Meeting Agenda and TAC Meeting Back-up Materials for each TAC meeting. • Organize and lead TAC meetings in accordance with the TAC Meeting Schedule. Changes to the schedule must be pre-approved in writing by the CAM. • Prepare TAC Meeting Summaries that include any recommended resolutions of major TAC issues. The TAC shall: • Help set the project team's goals and contribute to the development and evaluation of its statement of proposed objectives as the project evolves. • Provide a credible and objective sounding board on the wide range of technical and financial barriers and opportunities. • Help identify key areas where the project has a competitive advantage, value proposition, or strength upon which to build. • Advocate on behalf of the project in its effort to build partnerships, governmental support and relationships with a national spectrum of influential leaders. • Ask probing questions that insure a long-term perspective on decision-making and progress toward the project’s strategic goals. • Review and provide comments to proposed project performance metrics. • Review and provide comments to proposed project Draft Technology Transfer Plan.   • Joint Meetings 10.1(a) Should either party desire to discuss with the other any matter affecting generally the relationship of the parties, a meeting of Union and management representatives shall be arranged upon request of either party. Such meeting shall take place at a time mutually convenient to both parties. Any use of Company time for attendance at such meetings shall be arranged in advance by mutual agreement.

  • Public Meetings The Governing Board is subject to and shall comply with the Open and Public Meetings Act, O.C.G.A. § 50-14-1 et seq., and any subsequent amendment thereof. The Governing Board shall conduct regular meetings consistent with principles of transparency and avoidance of actual or apparent conflicts of interest in the governance of the Charter School.

  • Mandatory Meetings All residential students are required to attend the following building meetings. Time & locations will be communicated by the RAs through individual contact, emails and/or signs in the buildings. A $25 fee will be charged to any students who do not attend without an approved absence.
