Section 9.2. Personal Leave. 47 Each employee shall be granted three days of personal leave. Such leave is non-cumulative and shall be 48 granted with pay. Personal leave that is scheduled more than 72 hours ahead of time shall not require a 1 reason or explanation other than personal. Personal leave used on an emergency basis shall require an 2 explanation of the urgent need for such leave, consistent with prior practice.

Section 9.2. Personal Leave. 2 Four (4) days of leave per year shall be granted with pay for personal leave for a twelve (12) month 3 employee. Three (3) days of personal leave will be granted to less than twelve (12) month employees.

Section 9.2. Personal Leave. 37 Up to four (4) days leave shall be granted annually at the request of the employee at full salary for 38 unusual situations which require absence during school hours. Each regular classified employee with 39 less than 1.0 FTE status shall be afforded with days equivalent to their FTE position. This leave is 40 non-cumulative, two (2) days are non-sick leave days and two (2) days are sick leave days. 41

  • Personal Leave Written request for a personal leave of absence without pay will be considered on an individual basis by the Hospital. Such requests are to be submitted to the employee's immediate supervisor at least four (4) weeks in advance, unless not reasonably possible to give such notice, and a written reply will be given within fourteen (14) days except in cases of emergency in which case a reply will be given as soon as possible. Employees needing personal leave days for appointments with medical practitioners may utilize the personal leave language. Such leave shall not be unreasonably withheld.

  • Additional Personal Leave Where paid personal leave credits are exhausted:

  • Paid Personal Leave A. During the first full pay period in each January, full-time employees on the payroll as of September 1, 2011 will be credited annually with paid personal leave credits at the following rate: Scheduled Hours per Week Personal Leave Credits 37.5 hours per week 37.500 hours 40.0 hours per week 40.000 hours Such personal leave may be taken during the following twelve (12) months at a time or times requested by the employee and approved by his/her Appointing Authority.   • Personal Leave Day A. An employee may choose one (1) workday as a personal leave day each fiscal year during the life of this Agreement if the employee has been continuously employed for more than four (4) months.

  • Unpaid Personal Leave Where an employee has exhausted all paid personal leave entitlements, they are entitled to take unpaid personal leave to care for members of their immediate family or household who are sick and require care and support or who require care due to an unexpected emergency. The employer and the employee shall agree on the period. In the absence of agreement, the employee is entitled to take up to two days (up to a maximum of 16 hours) of unpaid leave per occasion, provided the requirements of 7.2.5(a) and 7.2.5(b) are met.

  • Personal Leave With Pay Full-time employees who are eligible to accrue sick leave may use up to a maximum of six days personal leave with pay per year provided that such days shall be charged against the employee's currently accrued sick leave. This leave is non-cumulative.
