Senior Police Officer. There shall be a maximum of ten (10) senior police officers. The following criteria must be met and maintained in order to retain the SPO designation: o Eight (8) years continuous service to Cheshire PD as a sworn officer o No disciplinary history for previous (24 months) —higher than a written reprimand ■ Any discipline resulting in a suspension will be an immediate disqualifier from SPO status o Initial submission for consideration shall include proof of all certifications and criteria under the scoring matrix. Each subsequent year a memorandum re-affirming that no changes in the scoring matrix have changed shall suffice. This memorandum shall be submitted annually between November lst — November 30th. Submissions after this date will not be considered. o Must attain eight (8) points from the list below.
Senior Police Officer a. The SPO is the highest ranking officer of the MDP complement who is tasked in accordance with the base Implementing Arrangements and local instructions. The SPO will exercise Operational Command and Control of policing tasks on behalf of the CC MDPGA. The SPO is required to consult and advise the SF Commander/Director of Security and RAF Commander, on all matters affecting policing, relevant safety and security of the base on which they are serving. b. The SPO will integrate the MDPGA resources with each base’s security forces to ensure a coordinated approach to security. This includes participation in a minimum of One annual joint security exercise. The SPO will keep the SF Commander/Director of Security and RAF Commander informed of all local matters of importance that arise. ç. When the Counter Terrorist Response Level has changed, the SPO is responsible for liaising with the local HDPF and AFOSI in order to coordinate the MDP contribution to the response, and for articulating to their chain of command the need for any additional MDP resources. The SPO must also liaise with the SF Commander/Director of Security in order to coordinate any change in internal security posture.

Section I "Enforcement and Service Delivery," with at least one (1) “Above Standards” or above in either Subsection E (problem solving) or Subsection F (activity and service level); b. Section II "Report Writing"; c. Section VI "Public Relations and Customer Service"; and d. Section VII "Work Habits". DETECTIVES 1. No “Below Standards” ratings, and; 2. At least fifty percent (50%) ratings as “Above Standards” or above in the following specific categories: a. Section I “Investigations”, with at least one (1) “Above Standards” or above in either Subsection D (accomplish your share of the work) or Subsection G (assist in handling the workload of the unit);
