Seniority Posting Clause Samples

Typically, this clause requires that job openings be posted in a manner accessible to all eligible employees, often specifying a minimum posting period and the criteria for applying, such as length of service or qualifications. Its core function is to ensure transparency and fairness in internal hiring or promotion processes, giving preference or priority to employees with greater seniority and thereby reducing disputes over advancement opportunities.
