Other Transportation. When a supervisor is required to use commercial transportation (air, taxi, rental car, etc.) in connection with authorized business of an Appointing Authority, the supervisor shall be reimbursed for the actual expenses of the mode and class of transportation so authorized. Reasonable gratuities and baggage fees may be included in commercial travel costs. Supervisors who use a specially equipped personal van or van-type vehicle on official State business shall be reimbursed for mileage at the IRS rate plus nine (9) cents per mile on the most direct route. In order to qualify for this reimbursement rate, the vehicle must be equipped with a ramp, lift, or other level exchanging device designed to provide access for a wheelchair. Reimbursement for use of a motorcycle on official State business shall be at a rate of thirty (30) cents per mile. The Appointing Authority may authorize travel in personal aircraft and when it is deemed in the best interest of the State. Mileage reimbursement in such cases shall be at the IRS privately owned aircraft mileage rate.

Other Transportation. Transportation furnished to and from work locations or other locations at a distance reasonably requiring transportation will be in vehicles or aircraft furnished to the Company by the military for that purpose. Employees will not be required to ride on open vehicles during inclement weather. During winter months, employees will not be required to ride in vehicles other than metal, fiberglass, or plywood enclosed vehicles when traveling to and from airfields or other locations away from Fort Xxxxxx. When outside temperature is below 45 degrees Fahrenheit (according to the control tower), pilots shall only be required to ride in enclosed heated sections of vehicles when traveling to and from airfields or locations away from Fort Xxxxxx.
Other Transportation. When an employee is required or authorized to use public transportation other than his private vehicle such as air, train, bus and taxi, the actual expenses including taxes and other charges shall be paid for by the City or if paid for by the employee, shall be reimbursed to the employee upon presentation of receipts to the City.

Other Transportation. Personal Car - The Company prefers travel through use of public transportation, but an employee’s automobile should be used when other transportation is unavailable or economy can be realized. The Company will reimburse the employee at the rate of .31 cents per mile over and above the normal commute, plus parking and tolls, for authorized business use of personal cars. The normal commute includes an employee’s drive to his/her office, or FM site, if located in the same city in which the employee resides. Taxis and other Out of Town Transportation - The cost of a taxi to and from places of business, hotels, or airports in connection with business activities is reimbursable. Use of taxis is authorized only when more economical services (hotel vans, shuttles, etc.) are not available. Employees are encouraged to utilize public transportation whenever feasible. Receipts are required for all transportation expenses.
Other Transportation. (i) Employee shall be entitled to use a private aircraft, including the "Aircraft" (as defined below) or any comparable aircraft when the Aircraft is unavailable (the "SUBSTITUTE AIRCRAFT"), for all worldwide travel that is primarily for a purpose related to Employee's duties under this Agreement ("BUSINESS TRAVEL"). During the Term, Employee or an Affiliate of Employee (or, in the case of a Substitute Aircraft, a third party) shall be entitled to reimbursement by Deerfield for (A) $4,000 per hour for actual flying time by Employee for Business Travel on the Falcon 900 aircraft owned or leased by an Affiliate of Employee (the "AIRCRAFT"), (B) out-of-pocket costs (excluding any such costs described in clause (C) or (D) below) in an amount of up to $4,000 per hour incurred for actual flying time by Employee for Business Travel on a Substitute Aircraft, subject to the receipt by the Board of appropriate documentation and receipts with respect to such costs and flying time, (C) the reasonable cost incurred by Employee or any Affiliate of Employee for any food consumed on board the Aircraft or a Substitute Aircraft, as the case may be, during Business Travel, subject to the receipt by the Board of appropriate documentation and receipts with respect to such costs and (D) the reasonable costs incurred by Employee or such Affiliate for any overnight meals and lodging for the crew members of the Aircraft or a Substitute Aircraft, as the case may be, incurred during Business Travel, subject to the receipt by the Board of appropriate documentation and receipts with respect to such meals and lodging. (ii) In the event that Employee or an Affiliate of Employee, as applicable, purchases or leases a private aircraft that is comparable to, and intended to permanently replace, the Aircraft, Deerfield shall continue the reimbursement arrangement for the Aircraft described in clause (i) above with respect to such replacement aircraft. In the event that Employee or an Affiliate of Employee, as applicable, purchases or leases a private aircraft that is intended to permanently replace the Aircraft, but is not comparable to the Aircraft, Deerfield and Employee shall negotiate in good faith to determine the appropriate hourly reimbursement rate for actual flying time on such replacement aircraft, which rate shall consider the average of the hourly rates of the three nationally recognized private aircraft charter companies selected by Deerfield and Employee; PROVIDED, HOWEVER, tha...
