SEP Description. The Parties agree that the Discharger’s payment of the SEP Amount is a SEP, and that the SEP Amount shall be treated as a permanently suspended administrative civil liability for purposes of this Stipulated Order. The Discharger’s SEP obligations shall be satisfactorily completed upon SFEI’s written notification to the Regional Water Board and the Discharger. The written notification shall acknowledge that the Regional Monitoring Program received payment of the SEP Amount from the Discharger and that the payment will be spent on the project described in section III, paragraph 1.b.i, and Attachment B in accordance with the terms of this Stipulated Order. SFEI’s annual and quarterly financial reports to the Regional Water Board shall be considered a final post-project accounting of expenditures.
SEP Description. The SEP is the Watershed Rangers Program managed by KIDS for the BAY (SEP Implementer). The SEP will provide disadvantaged schools in Richmond with trash cleanup projects that raise awareness of watershed health and social behaviors that contribute to non-point source pollution. Attachment B further describes the SEP and its project milestones, budget, and reporting schedule.
SEP Description. The Fryer Creek Habitat Enhancement Project is to address issues identified in the Sonoma Creek Watershed Sediment Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL). The SEP is designed to improve upland and aquatic wildlife habitat for native fisheries and preserve special-status species. Planting trees, shrubs, and grasses will help sequester carbon and enhance habitat for red-legged frogs, western pond turtles, existing warm water fisheries, and possibly Chinook salmon or steelhead. The planting of native species to stabilize the channel and banks will reduce erosion and sediment inputs to the stream channel, displace or reduce the prevalence of aquatic non-native weeds, filter and slow adjacent surface storm water runoff to prevent sediment build up, and to decrease intrusive sediment removal project impacts. Water quality monitoring and comparison to other watershed tributaries will provide critical indicators of stream health and help steer watershed management practices.
SEP Description. The SEP requires the Discharger to provide a $20,000 grant and $17,500 in engineering and technical services to the California-Nevada Section of the American Water Works Association (CA-NV AWWA) to update the Best Management Practices Manual for Drinking Water System Releases (BMPs Manual), publicize the updated BMPs manual, and provide training workshops on the updated BMPs manual. Attachment B, incorporated herein by reference, contains the complete SEP description, project milestones, budget, and reporting schedule.
SEP Description. The Settling Respondent proposed and agreed to implement an SEP for the Green Stormwater Infrastructure at Xxxxx/Xxxxxxx Intersection. The SEP will integrate green stormwater infrastructure into a traffic improvement project. Stormwater runoff from adjacent streets will flow into a landscaped area for treatment as a stormwater best management practice prior to discharge into the subsurface storm drain system. Attachment B further describes the SEP and its project milestones, budget, and reporting schedule.
SEP Description. The Parties agree that the Settling Respondent’s payment of the SEP Amount is a SEP, and that the SEP Amount shall be treated as a permanently suspended administrative civil liability for purposes of this Stipulated Order. The Settling Respondent’s SEP obligations shall be satisfactorily completed upon the San Francisco Estuary Institute’s written notification to the Regional Water Board and the Settling Respondent. The written notification will acknowledge that the Regional Monitoring Program received the SEP Amount from the Settling Respondent and that the payment will be spent on the project described in Section III, paragraph 8.b.i, and Exhibit B in accordance with the terms of this Stipulated Order. The San Francisco Estuary Institute’s annual and quarterly financial reports to the Regional Water Board shall be considered a final post-project accounting of expenditures.
SEP Description. The SEP will consist of installing Low Impact Development features within a heavily used City parking lot to treat, detain and infiltrate storm water. Currently, storm water from all but two City parking lots is directly conveyed (without any treatment, detention, or infiltration) through the City’s storm drain system to
SEP Description. The Parties agree that this resolution includes the performance of a SEP as provided for as follows: The Orange County Coastkeeper (Implementing Party) will implement a project to evaluate treatment control measures at scrap metal facilities through the use of commercially available advanced stormwater treatment systems. The project will document pollutant removal efficiencies of the Storminator, Stormwater Rx, Stormwater Systems, and American Stormwater Filtration advanced treatment systems. The project will collect stormwater samples from six (6) representative scrap metal facilities located in the Santa Xxx
SEP Description. The City agrees to fund the SEP described below. The SEP will directly benefit the water quality of Ellis Lake, a man-made lake in the center of Marysville, and will indirectly benefit the downstream receiving water body, Xxxx Xxxxxx, which feeds to the Feather River during the wet season. Ellis Lake has a surplus of algae blooms that contribute to poor water quality. In summary, the SEP would include preparation of a Technical Memorandum to identify a preferred project, and then implementation of the selected preferred project. The project would be to reduce algae growth in Ellis Lake either by pumping water from the Feather River into the lake, by designing and install aeration devises into the Lake, or through some other project that would be defined in the Technical Memorandum.
SEP Description. The Discharger has proposed a SEP consisting of the installation of a backup power generator for the sewer lift station at an 80-unit affordable housing complex located in the Town of Samoa, an economically disadvantaged community. The SEP supports the State Water Board's core value of the human right to water by safeguarding the continuity of wastewater services, preventing water contamination, reducing health risks, and ensuring equitable access to these services, all of which are essential components of clean and safe water provision. The complete SEP description, project milestones, budget, and reporting schedule are contained in Exhibit B, which is incorporated herein by reference.
