(a) STEP 1: The Union Grievance Committee, upon receiving a written and signed petition, shall determine if a grievance exists. If, in their opinion, no grievance exists, no further action is necessary. Any grievance must be submitted to the grievance committee within fifteen (15) calendar days of the time the grievant becomes aware of the facts giving rise to a grievance.

(c) If this fails to settle the matter, the Unions may serve notice upon the Company to discuss the matter.
(d) If the Company and the Unions fail to reach a settlement, either party may refer the matter to the Singapore Industrial Arbitration Court.
