Shift Differential Payments. Employees shall receive as additional compensation a shift differential payment calculated as a percentage of their base patrolman salary for the following shifts: a. Eight Hour Shift Schedule: Graveyard Shift: 22:00 hour to 06:00 hour $2/hr differential Swing Shift: 14:00 hour to 22:00 hour $1/hr differential Day Shift: 06:00 hour to 14:00 hour 0% differential b. Twelve Hour Shift Schedule: Graveyard Shift: 18:00 hour to 06:00 hour $2/hr differential Day Shift: 06:00 hour to 184:00 hour 0% differential c. Ten Hour Shift Schedule: Graveyard Shift: 20:00 hour to 06:00 hour $2/hr differential Swing Shift: 14:00 hour to 00:00 hour $1/hr differential Day Shift: 06:00 hour to 16:00 hour 0% differential d. Employees scheduled to work hours on a shift other than their normal shift will receive the appropriate shift differential for those hours actually worked, provided that their time card correctly identifies the total hours worked under each shift differential.

Effective the first full pay period of June 2018, those employees, other than Second Watch (Day Shift), required to work between the hours of 1800 (6:00 p.m.) and 0800 (8:00 a.m.) as one regular assignment shall be compensated at the rate of three dollars ($3.00) per hour for those hours worked during that pay period. (1) Any employee working a regular assigned shift, or any overtime shift, shall be paid shift differential for the entire shift if at least fifty percent (50%) of the hours worked are between 1800 hours (6:00 p.m.) and 0800 hours (8:00 a.m.). (2) Any employee who works any overtime between the hours of 1800 (6:00 p.m.) and 0800 (8:00 a.m.) shall receive shift differential for each hour worked between those hours. (3) Any employee assigned to First Watch (Graveyard) shall receive shift differential for any extension of his regular shift. (4) The provisions of this Article shall not apply to standby.

Shift Differential Payments. Employees working between the hours of 6:00pm (18:00) and 6:00am (6:00), shall receive a shift differential payment of $3/hr for hours actually worked between such times. a. Employees scheduled to work hours on a shift other than their normal shift will receive the appropriate shift differential for those hours actually worked, provided that their timecard correctly identifies the total hours worked under each shift differential.

  • Shift Differential Pay Employees in the classifications listed in Appendices B and F are eligible for differential pay when working during the following hours:

  • Shift Differential A. Shift differential will be $.60 cents per hour. B. Employees eligible for shift differential are those whose work shift begins before 6:00 a.m. or ends on or after 7:00 p.m. and are scheduled by their supervisor for a total shift of at least six (6) hours in duration. This shift differential shall not apply to those employees who have requested and have been granted flexible work scheduling.

  • Shift Differentials 18.1 Employees whose regularly assigned shifts commence between 1400 and 2159 hours shall receive a shift differential of seventy-five cents (75¢) per hour, and employees whose regularly assigned shifts commence between 2200 and 0559 hours shall receive a shift differential of eighty cents (80¢) per hour. Effective January 1, 2005, for employees whose regularly assigned shifts commence between 2200 and 0559 hours shall receive a shift differential of one dollar ($1) per hour. Overtime shall not be calculated on the shift differential nor shall the shift differential be paid for paid absence from duty such as vacations, general holidays, etc.

  • Weekend Differential Employees assigned to State institutions other than Maine State Prison shall be eligible for a weekend differential of fifty cents ($.50) per hour to the base for shifts beginning between 10:00 p.m. Friday and 9:59 p.m.
