SICKNESS OF ARTIST. 1. In the event that the ARTIST shall continue to be unable to perform services after the sick leave period referred to in Paragraph 30 of this Basic Agreement, the EMPLOYER shall return the ARTIST to their own domicile and shall provide the ARTIST with return transportation by the same means as provided for the ARTIST upon their arrival, and no further claim for payment under the Individual Artist Agreement shall be due after departure because of such illness. 2. It shall be the obligation of the EMPLOYER to provide transportation to the place of performance for the ARTIST engaged to replace the ARTIST forced to cancel their contract, by the same means as provided the ARTIST who has been forced to cancel their contract, and to provide return transportation to the city of origination at the end of the employment period. 3. The EMPLOYER may request a certificate of a doctor as to the illness of the ARTIST and an examination by a doctor designated and paid for by the EMPLOYER as a condition precedent to fulfilling the above clauses “1" and “3" of this subparagraph.

It shall be the obligation of MANAGEMENT to provide transportation to the place of performance for ARTIST engaged to replace ARTIST forced to cancel his or her contract, by the same means or better as provided ARTIST who has been forced to cancel his or her contract, and to provide return transportation to the city of origination at the end of the engagement period. 3. MANAGEMENT may request a certificate of a doctor as to the illness of ARTIST and an examination by a doctor designated and paid for by MANAGEMENT as a condition precedent to fulfilling the above paragraph C.1. of this Article XIX.

In the event that ARTIST shall continue to be unable to perform services after the Sick Leave period referred to in Article 28 of Section 1, MANAGEMENT shall return ARTIST to their resident city and shall provide ARTIST with return transportation by the same means as provided for the ARTIST’s arrival, and no further claim for payment under ARTIST’s contract shall be due after departure because of such illness. 24.3.2. It shall be the obligation of MANAGEMENT to provide transportation to the place of performance for ARTIST engaged to replace ARTIST forced to cancel their Individual Artist Agreement, by the same means or better as provided ARTIST who has been forced to cancel their Individual Artist Agreement, and to provide return transportation to the city of origination at the end of the engagement period. 24.3.3. MANAGEMENT may request a certificate of a doctor as to the illness of ARTIST and an examination by a doctor designated and paid for by MANAGEMENT as a condition precedent to fulfilling Paragraph 24.3.1 in this Article.

It shall be the obligation of MANAGEMENT to provide transportation to the place of performance for ARTIST engaged to replace ARTIST forced to cancel the contract, by the same means or better as provided ARTIST who has been forced to cancel the contract, and to provide return transportation to the city of origination at the end of the engagement period. 3. MANAGEMENT may request a certificate of a doctor as to the illness of ARTIST and an examination by a doctor designated and paid for by MANAGEMENT as a condition precedent to fulfilling the above Article XVIII.C.1.
SICKNESS OF ARTIST. (1) In the event that the Artist shall continue to be unable to perform services after the sick leave period referred to in Article I.33 of this Agreement, the Company shall return the Artist to their Resident city and shall provide the Artist with return transportation by the same means as provided for the Artist's arrival, and no further claim for payment under the Artist's IAA shall be due after departure because of such illness. (2) The Company may request a certificate of a medical doctor as to the illness of the Artist and an examination by a doctor designated and paid for by the Company as a condition precedent to fulfilling the above clause of this paragraph.

  • Vacation and Holidays Executive will receive four weeks of paid vacation each year in addition to all holidays observed by the Company and its subsidiaries. Executive may carry over, in the aggregate, up to four weeks of unused vacation to a subsequent year. Any unused vacation time in excess of four weeks will not accumulate or carry over from one calendar year to the next. Each calendar year, Executive shall take not less than one (1) week vacation.

  • Portability of Sick Leave 1. The employer will accept up to sixty (60) accumulated sick leave days from other school districts in British Columbia, for employees hired to or on exchange in the district. 2. An employee hired to or on exchange in the district shall accumulate and utilize sick leave credit according to the provisions of the Collective Agreement as it applies in that district.

  • Vacation, Sick Leave and Holidays Executive shall be entitled to four (4) weeks (28 business days) of vacation, and also sick leave and holidays at full pay in accordance with the Company’s policies established and in effect from time to time.

  • Extension of Sick Leave Unless an employee otherwise requests in writing, an employee who has used up her sick leave credits shall be granted advanced sick leave with pay for a period up to fifteen (15) days subject to the deduction of such advanced leave from any sick leave credits subsequently earned.

  • Term and Annual Renewal The term of this Agreement shall be from the date of its approval by the vote of a majority of the Board of each Issuer, and it shall continue in effect from year to year thereafter only so long as such continuance is specifically approved at least annually by the vote of a majority of its Board, and the vote of a majority of those members of the Board who are neither parties to the Agreement nor interested persons of any such party, cast at a meeting called for the purpose of voting on such approval. “Approved at least annually” shall mean approval occurring, with respect to the first continuance of the Agreement, during the 90 days prior to and including the date of its termination in the absence of such approval, and with respect to any subsequent continuance, during the 90 days prior to and including the first anniversary of the date upon which the most recent previous annual continuance of the Agreement became effective. The effective date of the Agreement with respect to each Fund is identified in the Schedule A of this Agreement.

  • Vacation and Sick Leave During the Term, Executive shall be entitled to (a) sick leave in accordance with the Company’s policies applicable to similarly situated executive officers of the Company from time to time and (b) 4 weeks paid vacation each calendar year (up to 40 hours of which may be carried forward to a succeeding year).

  • Religious Holidays When a religious holiday, not observed as a holiday, as provided in Section 2 above, falls on a supervisor's regularly scheduled work day, the supervisor shall be entitled to that day off to observe the religious holiday. Time to observe religious holidays shall be taken without pay except where the supervisor has sufficient accumulated vacation leave or accumulated compensatory time, or, by mutual consent, is able to make the time up. Supervisors shall notify the Appointing Authority at least twenty-eight (28) calendar days prior to the leave.

  • Dental specific medications for dental purposes, including fluoride medications (except for children less than five years of age with a non-fluorinated water supply);

  • Sick Leave Sharing The program permits employees to donate sick leave to a fellow employee who is suffering from or has a relative or household member suffering from an extraordinary or severe illness, injury, impairment, or physical, or mental condition which has caused or is likely to cause the employee to take leave without pay or to terminate employment

  • Vacations and Holidays The Executive will be entitled to four weeks paid vacation each Fiscal Year in accordance with the vacation policies of the Employer in effect for its executive officers from time to time. Vacation must be taken by the Executive at such time or times as approved by the Chairman of the Board or Chief Executive Officer. The Executive will also be entitled to the paid holidays set forth in the Employer's policies. Vacation days and holidays during any Fiscal Year that are not used by the Executive during such Fiscal Year may not be used in any subsequent Fiscal Year.
