SITE INVESTIGATION AND CONDITIONS AFFECTING THE WORK. (a) Seller acknowledges that it has taken steps reasonably necessary to ascertain the nature and location of the work, and that it has investigated and satisfied itself as to the general and local conditions which can affect the work or its cost, including but not limited to (1) conditions bearing upon transportation, disposal, handling, and storage of materials; (2) the availability of labor, water, electric power, and roads; (3) uncertainties of weather, river stages, tides, or similar physical conditions at the site; (4) the conformation and conditions of the ground; and (5) the character of equipment and facilities needed preliminary to and during work performance. Seller also acknowledges that it has satisfied itself as to the character, quality, and quantity of surface and subsurface materials or obstacles to be encountered insofar as this information is reasonably ascertainable from an inspection of the site, including all exploratory work done by Company, as well as from the drawings and specifications made a part of this Agreement. Any failure of Seller to take the actions described and acknowledged in this paragraph will not relieve Seller from responsibility for estimating properly the difficulty and cost of successfully performing the work, or for proceeding to successfully perform the work without additional expense to Company.

SITE INVESTIGATION AND CONDITIONS AFFECTING THE WORK. 5.1 The CONTRACTOR will take steps necessary to ascertain the nature and location of the work, and investigate the general and local conditions which can affect the work or its cost, including but not limited to (1) conditions bearing upon transportation, disposal, handling, and storage of materials; (2) the availability of labor, water, electric power, and roads; (3) uncertainties of weather, river stages, tides, or similar physical conditions at the site; (4) the conformation and conditions of the ground; and (5) the character of equipment and facilities needed preliminary to and during work performance. The CONTRACTOR also will observe and determine the character, quality, and quantity of surface and subsurface materials or obstacles to be encountered insofar as this information is reasonably ascertainable from an inspection of the site, including all exploratory work done by the OWNER, as well as from the drawings and specifications made a part of this contract. Any failure of the CONTRACTOR to take the actions described and acknowledged in this paragraph will not relieve the CONTRACTOR from responsibility for estimating properly the difficulty and cost of successfully performing the work, or for proceeding to successfully perform the work without additional expense to the OWNER.
SITE INVESTIGATION AND CONDITIONS AFFECTING THE WORK. (a) Contractor acknowledges that it has taken steps reasonably necessary to ascertain the nature and locations of the Work of the Contract Documents, and that it has investigated and satisfied itself as to the general and local conditions and factors which can affect the Work or its cost, including, but not limited to: (i) conditions bearing upon transportation, disposal, handling, and storage of materials; (ii) the availability of labor, water, electric power, and roads; conditions at the Site; work performance. (iii) uncertainties of weather, river stages, tides, or similar physical (iv) the information and conditions of the ground; and (v) the character of equipment and facilities needed before and during (b) Contractor, by executing the Agreement, represents that it has reviewed and understands the Contract Documents and has notified the City of and obtained clarification of any discrepancies which have become apparent during the bidding period. (c) Contractor also acknowledges that it has satisfied itself as to the character, quality, and quantity of surface and subsurface materials or obstacles to be encountered insofar as this information is reasonably ascertainable from an inspection of the Site, including all exploratory work done by the City and included as an Attachment(s) to the Agreement. Any failure of Contractor to take the actions described and acknowledged in this paragraph will not relieve Contractor from responsibility for estimating properly the difficulty and cost of successfully performing the Work without additional expense to the City. (d) Contractor shall make all necessary investigations to determine the existence and locations of underground utilities, including, but not limited to, review and consideration of the survey attached to the Agreement as Attachment J. Contractor will be held responsible for any damage to and maintenance of protection of existing utilities and structures, of both public and private ownership. (e) The City assumes no responsibility for any conclusions or interpretations made by Contractor based on the information made available by the City. The City assumes no responsibility for any understanding reached or representation made concerning conditions which can affect the Work by any of its officers or agents before the execution of the Agreement, unless that understanding or representation is expressly stated in the Agreement.

SITE INVESTIGATION AND CONDITIONS AFFECTING THE WORK. 7.1 GRADES & DIMENSIONS: The exactness of grades, elevations, dimensions, or locations given on any Specification or Drawing issued by the Architect and/or the Project Manager or work installed by other contractors, is not guaranteed by HAKC. The Contractor shall satisfy itself as to the accuracy of all grades, elevations, dimensions and locations. In all cases of interconnection of the Contractor's Work with existing or other work, the Contractor shall verify all dimensions relating to such existing or other work.
SITE INVESTIGATION AND CONDITIONS AFFECTING THE WORK. In accordance with FAR Clause 52.236-3 “Site Investigation and Conditions Affecting the Work” (APR 1984), the Subcontractor acknowledges that it has taken steps reasonably necessary to ascertain the nature and location of the work, and that it has investigated and satisfied itself as to the general and local conditions which can affect the work or its cost. The Subcontractor also acknowledges that it has satisfied itself as to the character, quality, and quantity of surface and subsurface materials or obstacles to be encountered insofar as this information is reasonable ascertained from an inspection of the site. Any failure of the Subcontractor to take the actions described and acknowledged in this paragraph will not relieve the Subcontractor from responsibility for estimating properly the difficulty and cost of successfully performing the work, or for proceeding to successfully perform the work without additional expense to Chemonics. Chemonics assumes no responsibility for any conclusions or interpretations made by the Subcontractor based on the information made available by Chemonics.
