Small Business Participation Plan. The contractor shall submit a Small Business Participation Plan in accordance with Section J, Exhibit B, CDRL B001 which will identify and show your commitment to subcontracting opportunities for each SB sub-category in performance of the NETCENTS-2 Application Services Full and Open contract. The Participation Plan is required whether the offeror utilizes a master subcontracting plan, commercial subcontracting plan, a comprehensive subcontracting plan, or an Individual Subcontracting Plan. The small business participation plan shall be incorporated into the resulting contract.

Small Business Participation Plan. All Offerors (both large and small businesses) are required to complete a Small Business Participation Proposal. Offerors should propose the level of participation of small businesses (as a small business prime and/or small business subcontractors) in the performance of the acquisition relative to the following small business objectives. The Department of Defense (DOD) has established small business objectives as an assistance to assure small business receives a fair proportion of DOD awards. The objectives for this procurement are as follows: Small Business: {32.0%} of the total contract value HUBZone Small Business: {3.0%} of the total contract value Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business: {3.0%} of the total contract value Small Disadvantaged Business: {5.0%} of the total contract value Women-Owned Small Business: {5.0%} of the total contract value *The Government recognizes that these objectives are stated as a percentage of the total contract value for the small business participation plan; whereas, the objectives included in the subcontracting plan (FAR Clause 52.219-9) are stated in terms of a percentage of total subcontract dollars.
Small Business Participation Plan. All Offerors (both large and small businesses) are required to complete a Small Business Participation Plan to be evaluated under Small Business Participation Evaluation Factor. The offeror shall articulate how the offeror intends to meet the small business goals described in the Small Business Evaluation Factor. The offeror’s proposal must meet the minimum mandatory Total Small Business goal of 30% (through collective small business participation from any type of small business or sub-category small business). The subcategory small business goals are NOT mandatory. However, the Government will evaluate the proposals to determine which offeror(s) propose the best value in terms of meeting all the Small Business Participation goals herein. The small business participation goal for this acquisition is at least 30% of the total $48M contract value. The Government will not be establishing goals for individual set-aside categories (i.e. SDB, SDVOSB, VOSB, WOSB, HUBZone). All Offerors, whether small or large businesses, shall submit Small Business Participation Plan. Offerors shall propose the level of participation of small businesses (as a small business prime and/or small business subcontractors) in the performance of the acquisition relative to the objectives/goals set forth in the evaluation of this area, which shall include the following:

Small business participation reporting shall discuss initiatives to assist, promote, and utilize small business (SB), small disadvantage business (SDB), women-owned small business (WOSB), Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUB Zone) small business, veteran-owned small business (VOSB) and service disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB), including the use of small businesses in mission critical aspects of the program. This information may be considered in CPARS and other performance reviews. Small business participation will be monitored to ensure the contractor meets the targets set forth in the contractor's Small Business Participation Plan.
Small Business Participation Plan. The Government will evaluate whether the Offeror’s SB Participation Plan demonstrates a commitment to using SBs, SDBs, WOSBs, HUB Zone SBs, VOSBs, SDVOSBs, and HBCU/MIs in performance of the contract. Small Business Participation Plan. In order to gather data to assess the contractor’s small business participation in accordance with FAR 52.219-8, the contractor shall develop and submit a Small Business Participation Plan. The Small Business Participation Plan is separate from the FAR requirement for a Small Business Subcontracting Plan and is required from both small and other than small businesses. The contractor shall ensure that Small Business Subcontracting Plan submissions are consistent with the Small Business Participation Plan information, if a Subcontracting Plan is required. This Small Business Participation Plan shall reference specific details of how the contractor will utilize small business participation as the prime or as first tier subcontract level throughout the period of performance of the contract. The Small Business Participation Plan shall provide percentage of total work performed by small business compared to the total contract value. All Offerors, including small businesses, that submit proposals as a prime contractor are required to propose on the extent of their inclusion of small businesses in the performance of the contract, including: small business, small disadvantaged business, women-owned small business, HUBZone small business, and service-disabled veteran-owned small business. The Government will assess the Offeror’s small business participation and commitment to determine if small business participation is maximized. Small business participation is a separate and distinctly different requirement from the FAR 19.704 requirement for the Contracting Officer to review and accept an Offeror‘s subcontracting plan. The small business participation plan is an actual commitment document that addresses the extent of small business utilization in the performance of a contract, as outlined in DFARS 215.304(c)(i). The small business participation plan outlines the "specifics" or the "how" or the "details" of the Offeror’s firm intentions to maximize the utilization of small businesses within this acquisition. The Offeror shall articulate small business contributions to contract performance at the prime contract through first tier subcontract levels. Second and third tier small business subcontractors will not be considered towards the total small business participation percentage. Small Business Participation Plan a) The Extent of Participation by Small Business Documentation portion of the proposal shall be submitted as a part of Volume V. b) In accordance with FAR 15.304, it is the intent of the Government to encourage participation of small businesses whenever practicable. Describe the extent to which your company has identified and committed to provide for participation by small, small and disadvantaged businesses (SDB), woman-owned businesses (WOB), veteran owned small business and service-disabled veteran owned small business, historically black colleges and universities, or other minority institutions for the performance of this effort. ALL offerors shall provide sufficient information to demonstrate that the tasks assigned the selected subcontractors are meaningful in the sense that they will be performing functions important to the overall success of the program and also broaden the subcontractor's technical capability. ALL Offerors shall describe their approach for enhancing small business subcontractor's technical capability. Of special interest is the amount and type of work to be performed by the subcontractors. Offerors shall explain how you, as the Offeror, believe the proposed approach and plan for use of SB is realistic for this procurement. c) Submission shall be separate from subcontracting plans to be submitted by large businesses pursuant to FAR 52.219-9.
Small Business Participation Plan. All offerors (both large and small businesses) will be evaluated on the level of small business commitment that they are demonstrating for the proposed acquisition, and their prior level of commitment to utilizing small businesses in performance of prior contracts. A Small Business Participation adjectival rating will be assigned to each offeror.

  • SMALL BUSINESS PARTICIPATION AND DVBE PARTICIPATION REPORTING REQUIREMENTS a. If for this Contract Contractor made a commitment to achieve small business participation, then Contractor must within 60 days of receiving final payment under this Contract (or within such other time period as may be specified elsewhere in this Contract) report to the awarding department the actual percentage of small business participation that was achieved. (Govt. Code § 14841.) b. If for this Contract Contractor made a commitment to achieve disabled veteran business enterprise (DVBE) participation, then Contractor must within 60 days of receiving final payment under this Contract (or within such other time period as may be specified elsewhere in this Contract) certify in a report to the awarding department: (1) the total amount the prime Contractor received under the Contract; (2) the name and address of the DVBE(s) that participated in the performance of the Contract; (3) the amount each DVBE received from the prime Contractor; (4) that all payments under the Contract have been made to the DVBE; and (5) the actual percentage of DVBE participation that was achieved. A person or entity that knowingly provides false information shall be subject to a civil penalty for each violation. (Mil. & Vets. Code § 999.5(d); Govt. Code § 14841.)

  • Small Business This chapter shall not be applied to any contractor that meets all of the following: 1. Has ten or fewer employees during the contract period; and, 2. Has annual gross revenues in the preceding twelve months which, if added to the annual amount of the contract awarded, are less than $500,000; and, 3.   • PARTICIPATION, CONTRACT ACCESS, AND PARTICIPATING ENTITY REQUIREMENTS A. PARTICIPATION. Sourcewell’s cooperative contracts are available and open to public and nonprofit entities across the United States and Canada; such as federal, state/province, municipal, K-12 and higher education, tribal government, and other public entities. The benefits of this Contract should be available to all Participating Entities that can legally access the Equipment, Products, or Services under this Contract. A Participating Entity’s authority to access this Contract is determined through its cooperative purchasing, interlocal, or joint powers laws. Any entity accessing benefits of this Contract will be considered a Service Member of Sourcewell during such time of access. Supplier understands that a Participating Entity’s use of this Contract is at the Participating Entity’s sole convenience and Participating Entities reserve the right to obtain like Equipment, Products, or Services from any other source. Supplier is responsible for familiarizing its sales and service forces with Sourcewell contract use eligibility requirements and documentation and will encourage potential participating entities to join Sourcewell. Sourcewell reserves the right to add and remove Participating Entities to its roster during the term of this Contract.

  • Small Business Investment Company Buyer is a small business investment company licensed by the U.S. Small Business Administration under Section 301(c) or (d) of the Small Business Investment Act of 1958.

  • Qualified Small Business Stock The Company shall use commercially reasonable efforts to cause those shares of Series A Preferred Stock that are Registrable Securities, as well as any shares of Common Stock into which such shares of Series A Preferred Stock are converted, within the meaning of Section 1202(f) of the Internal Revenue Code (the “Code”), to constitute “qualified small business stock” as defined in Section 1202(c) of the Code; provided, however, that such requirement shall not be applicable if the Board of Directors of the Company determines, in its good-faith business judgment, that such qualification is inconsistent with the best interests of the Company. The Company shall submit to its stockholders (including the Investors) and to the Internal Revenue Service any reports that may be required under Section 1202(d)(1)(C) of the Code and the regulations promulgated thereunder. In addition, within twenty (20) business days after any Investor’s written request therefor, the Company shall, at its option, either (i) deliver to such Investor a written statement indicating whether (and what portion of) such Investor’s interest in the Company constitutes “qualified small business stock” as defined in Section 1202(c) of the Code or (ii) deliver to such Investor such factual information in the Company’s possession as is reasonably necessary to enable such Investor to determine whether (and what portion of) such Investor’s interest in the Company constitutes “qualified small business stock” as defined in Section 1202(c) of the Code.

  • Program Participation By participating in the CRF Program, Grantee agrees to: a. Not increase any Eligible Household’s rent through January 2021; b. Waive all costs, fees and charges incurred by Eligible Households as a result of non- payment or partial payment of rent during the impacted months; c. Not consider non-payment or partial payment by Eligible Households during impacted months when considering renewal of an Eligible Household’s lease, or, share this information with other rental properties, credit bureaus and tenant screening companies; d. Not initiate new Eligible Household evictions for non-payment of rent and must suspend all pending evictions of Eligible Households for nonpayment of rent for the duration of the rental payment assistance; e. Not issue a notice to vacate to Eligible Households for nonpayment of rent until the end of the Eviction Relief Period; and f. Not require Eligible Households to vacate the unit until 30 days after such notice.

  • UTILIZATION OF SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS Seller agrees to actively seek out and provide the maximum practicable opportunities for small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, women-owned small businesses, minority business enterprises, historically black colleges and universities and minority institutions, Historically Underutilized Business Zone small business concerns and US Veteran and Service-Disabled Veteran Owned small business concerns to participate in the subcontracts Seller awards to the fullest extent consistent with the efficient performance of this Contract.

  • COOPERATIVE PURCHASING PROGRAM PARTICIPATION Arkansas' Purchasing Law provides that local public procurement units (counties, municipalities, school districts, certain nonprofit corporations, etc.) may participate in state purchasing contracts. The contractor therefore agrees to sell to Cooperative Purchasing Program participants at the option of the program participants. Unless otherwise stated, all standard and special terms and conditions listed within the contract must be equally applied to such participants.
