SOUND CONTROL. .1 Contractor shall comply with the City’s Noise Ordinance set forth in Chapter 9.10 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code, except as modified in the Special Provisions and Technical Specifications. Copies of the Noise Ordinance are available in the Purchasing Division.
.2 Each internal combustion engine used for any purpose on the Site or otherwise within the City of Palo Alto shall be equipped with a muffler of a type recommended by the manufacturer. No internal combustion engine shall be operated on the Project without said muffler. This requirement in no way relieves Contractor from responsibility for complying with local ordinances regulating noise level.
.3 The noise level requirement shall apply to all equipment on the Work or related to the job, including but not limited to trucks, transit mixers or transient equipment that may or may not be owned by Contractor. The use of loud sound signals shall be avoided in favor of light warnings except those required by safety laws for the protection of personnel.
.4 Prior to starting construction, all equipment to be used on the Project shall be inspected and tested for compliance with the requirements of this Project. Sound blankets or other sound mitigation equipment approved by the Construction Manager shall be required to bring equipment into compliance with the requirements of this Project.
SOUND CONTROL. PRESENTOR shall have precedence in selecting the appropriate volume for Xxxxxxxx Xxxxxxxx College facilities.
SOUND CONTROL. A. Contractor will comply with all County and local sound control and noise level rules, regulations, and ordinance, which apply to any work performed pursuant to the Contract, and will make every effort to control any undue noise resulting from its operation.
B. Full compensation for conforming to requirements of “Sound Control” will be considered as included in the various items of work involved and no additional compensation will be allowed therefore.
SOUND CONTROL. Tenant is responsible for taking the necessary ------------- measures to reduce the sound transmissions caused by the Equipment. In addition, Tenant's Generator shall be installed in a weatherproof, walk-around type, sound attenuating enclosure which shall limit the sound to no more that 85 dBA as measured at three (3) feet from any side, top or bottom, under all operating conditions.
SOUND CONTROL. TAMU-CC shall have the absolute right to control the sound levels, mix the sound, operate the sound equipment, and design the sound system setup as may be required during Customer’s event. If your event requires portable sound equipment, in addition to the installed house equipment, this equipment will be placed in the Premises at the discretion, and according to the direction of TAMU-CC. TAMU-CC may allow event’s artists and/or artist’s representative to operate the sound system; however, TAMU-CC will, in all cases, be the final judge of what constitutes proper sound mixing and reasonable sound pressure levels in the hall.

4. The noise level from the Contractor’s operation during the above specified times shall not exceed 86 DBA at a distance of fifty (50) feet. This requirement in no way relieves the Contractor from responsibility for complying with local ordinances regulating noise level.
5. Said noise level requirement shall apply to all equipment on the job or related to the job, including but not limited to trucks, mowers, or tractors that may not be owned by the Contractor. 3. The noise level from the Contractor’s operations between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Sunday, shall be in accordance with the County Ordinance covering “Noise Control”.

The noise level from the Contractor’s operation during the above specified times shall not exceed 86 DBA at a distance of fifty (50) feet. “When utilizing leaf blowers noise level shall not exceed (65 DBA). An acceptable model for a low noise blower is “The Quiet 1”, or any other approved equal conforming to the noise level listed above. This requirement in no way relieves the Contractor from responsibility for complying with local ordinances regulating noise level.
