Spread time. A regular or extra board operator who works a split run shall be paid a spread time penalty amounting to one-half straight time rate on all time after twelve and one-half (12.5) hours between the starting and finishing time of such split run.

Spread time. A. Not less than thirty-five percent (35%) of all scheduled work shifts shall be completed within eight (8) hours. Not less than sixty-five percent (65%) of all scheduled runs shall be completed within eight-and-one-half (8.5) hours. The District will make a reasonable effort to complete all scheduled work shifts in twelve (12) hours. Any portion of the scheduled shift that exceeds twelve (12) hours will be paid at one-and-one-half (1.5) the employee’s regular rate of pay.
Spread time. (a) Except as provided in Article 4, Section 2(a), Regular Operators shall be paid one and one-half (1½) times their straight time hours for all work performed in excess of a spread of ten (10) hours except as provided elsewhere in this Contract. An Operator voluntarily bidding an extra piece of work over and above his/her assignment will be paid for such piece of work, but not in excess of time and one-half (1½), except as provided in Article 44, with a minimum of two (2) hours pay time.
