Staff Call-In. The Agency shall endeavour to maintain equal distribution of staff call-in opportunities for openings created on short notice, such as sick leave. The Agency will follow seniority when calling in staff, within classifications for holiday replacement shifts and for replacement of shift openings known within fourteen (14) working days or more in advance, as long as these openings do not require posting under clause 12.01. For clarification, seniority for the purpose of this clause shall be revised biweekly (every second Monday, following the end of the pay period) For the remainder of the short notice shifts that become available, the Employer shall call through the Supply staff list on a rotating basis starting with the most senior person until a replacement is found. On the next call in the Employer shall start the call in with the next person on the list. Only the first instance of refusal or acceptance of a shift less than twelve (12) hours will not result in going to the bottom of the call in list. Part-time employees shall be called in order of their seniority among other part-time employees prior to Supply Staff for all available call-in shifts.
Staff Call-In. Call in of part-time and casual staff will be done in a fair and equitable manner, with first option to part-time staff. All call-ins shall consider service needs/issues.

  • Call-In A regular part-time or casual employee reporting to work at the call of the Employer for unscheduled work, except those on-call or on a call-back, shall be paid for all hours worked with a minimum of two (2) hours pay at their regular rate if the employee does not commence work, and a minimum of four (4) hours pay at the regular rate if the employee commences work.

  • MINIMUM CALL-IN If a member is called in for extra work, they shall be paid a minimum of four (4) hour pay at their straight hourly rate.

  • Emergency Call-In When an employee is called in to perform unanticipated extra work, and the work is not an extension of his normal workday, he shall be compensated for the hours worked. Such compensation shall be for a minimum of four (4) hours in the event the employee works less than this amount of time. However, actual time worked will be considered for the computation of overtime.

  • Call-in Procedure ‌ (a) Casual employees shall be called in to work in the order of their seniority provided that they are registered to work in a job classification applicable to the work required to be done. A casual employee shall be entitled to register for work in any job classification in a single department for which the employee meets the requirements of the job based on the factors in Article 12.9 (Selection Criteria). No casual employee shall be registered in more than one department except where the Employer and the Union otherwise agree in good faith.

  • Call-Ins (i) The Employee shall be paid for at least four hours at overtime rates. (ii) When called by phone, $9.00 for use of phone plus half of one hour at ordinary time rates of pay, both subject to attending work. (iii) When called by taxi half of one hour at ordinary time rates of pay subject to attending work. (iv) Should a call-in commence or continue eight hours before the Employee’s rostered shift commencement the rest period prescribed in clause 8.4(a) shall apply. (v) If a call in is less than 3 hours and finishes prior to eight hours before the Employee’s rostered shift commencement the rest period prescribed in clause 8.4(a) shall not apply. (vi) If a call in finishes 2 hours or less before the Employee’s rostered shift commencement the Employee will continue to work into their normal working hours.

  • Assuming Institution Portfolio Sales of Remaining Shared-Loss Loans The Assuming Institution shall have the right, with the consent of the Receiver, to liquidate for cash consideration, from time to time in one or more transactions, all or a portion of Shared-Loss Loans held by the Assuming Institution at any time prior to the Termination Date (“Portfolio Sales”).   • STAFF SURPLUS 26.1 When as a result of the substantial restructuring of the whole, or any parts, of the employer's operations; either due to the reorganisation, review of work method, change in plant (or like cause), the employer requires a reduction in the number of employees, or, employees can no longer be employed in their current position, at their current grade or work location (i.e. the terms of appointment to their present position), then the options in sub clause 26.5 below shall be invoked and decided on a case by case basis by the employer having due regard to the circumstances of the affected employee. 26.2 Where an employee's employment is being terminated by the employer by reason of the sale or transfer of the whole or part of the employer's business, nothing in this Agreement shall require the employer to pay compensation for redundancy to the employee if: 26.2.1 The person acquiring the business or the part being sold or transferred a) Has offered the employee employment in the business or the part being sold or transferred; and b) Has agreed to treat service with the employer as if it were service with that person and as if it were continuous; and the conditions of employment offered to the employee by the person acquiring the business or the part of the business being sold or transferred are the same as, or are no less favourable than, the employee's conditions of employment, including: a) Any service related conditions; and b) Any conditions relating to redundancy; and c) Any conditions relating to superannuation Under the employment being terminated; and The offer of employment by the person acquiring the business or the part of the business being sold or transferred is an offer to employ the employee in that business or part of the business either: a) In the same capacity as that in which the employee was employed by the Employer; or b) In any capacity that the employee is willing to accept.

  • Portfolio Securities Portfolio securities of the Issuer may be bought or sold by or through Distributors, and Distributors may participate directly or indirectly in brokerage commissions or "spreads" for transactions in portfolio securities of the Issuer.

  • Minimum Call-In Time 1. Any employee called in to work on a day when the employee is not scheduled to work, shall receive a minimum of two (2) hours pay at the appropriate rate of pay. 2. If an employee is assigned to work on a day when the employee is not scheduled to work, he/she shall receive a minimum of two (2) hours pay at the appropriate rate of pay.
