Statement of Policies. 1. Primary responsibility for the direction and strategy of this matter is with API staff and the company advisors on the government relations strategy committee or other responsible committee. This includes all payments that may be made to charitable organizations, xxxxxxxx of commerce, business organizations, trade associations, or any other third parties with similar purposes or functions. As agreed by you in your contract, all such payments shall be made directly by API, and shall not be made by you or any of your employees or subcontractors on API’s behalf.
2. API takes all of its compliance and legal obligations very seriously. Accordingly, you have agreed to comply with and render all services to API in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. These laws and regulations include, but are not limited to:
a. Federal criminal statutes prohibiting bribery of public officials and illegal gratuities, 18 U.S.C. § 201, and any state and local laws prohibiting the same;
b. Gift, travel, and related ethics rules adopted by the U.S. House of Representatives, the U.S. Senate, federal agencies of the Executive Branch, and similar rules adopted by state and local legislative bodies and agencies;
c. The Foreign Corrupt Practices Act;
d. Federal prohibitions on coordinated communications, 52 U.S.C. § 30116, and any state and local laws prohibiting the same;
e. Federal prohibitions on political contributions in the name of another person, 52 U.S.C. § 30122, and any state and local laws prohibiting the same; and
f. Registration and disclosure laws applicable to lobbyists, agents, and other professionals, including the Lobbying Disclosure Act, and state, county, municipal, and other local laws requiring the same.
3. API requires its political consultants to understand its obligations under the laws and regulations described in the Independence of Political Advocacy paragraph and further highlighted above, and to train their officers, directors, employees and subcontractors performing services pursuant to this Agreement on a regular basis to understand and comply with the same. Pursuant to this Agreement, you agree to provide copies of the training material and verification of completion of training at API’s request.
Statement of Policies. The CITY declares it to be the policy of the City of Champaign, Illinois, to implement effective measures to eliminate alcohol and drug abuse that threatens the health and safety of officers and the public, yet in doing so to protect all officers against unreasonable invasions of personal privacy and deprivation of rights arising from the suspicion of alcohol or drug abuse. It is also the policy of the CITY, in appropriate cases as set forth herein, to encourage and facilitate rehabilitation of officers who are accurately identified as alcohol or drug abusers and officers who have been accurately identified as being psychologically, psychiatrically or physiologically unfit to perform their duties as police officers so that they may continue or resume employment.

Relationship of Related or Connected Issuers The Manager is registered under applicable securities legislation as an investment fund manager, portfolio manager and exempt market dealer. The Manager is the trustee and manager of Turtle Creek Investment Fund, Turtle Creek Equity Fund, Turtle Creek Canadian Equity Fund and Turtle Creek United States Equity Fund (the “Funds”), which are mutual funds offered on a “private placement” basis, and receives fees from each of the Funds. As a result, each of the Funds is a related or connected issuer of the Manager. For the purposes of this summary, (i) the word “connected” is intended to involve a state of indebtedness to, or other relationship with, the registrant or those “related” to the registrant that, in connection with a distribution of securities, would be material to a purchaser of the securities; and (ii) the word “related” is intended to involve positions permitting, through ownership or otherwise, a controlling influence, and would include all companies under a common controlling influence.

Statement of Policies. A. To be considered for funding a special event or project the event or project must first and foremost attract visitors to Lebanon. The increased visitation should directly and consistently increase transient lodging occupancy and restaurant sales.
X. Xxxxx funds from the Lebanon Tourist & Convention Commission are intended to supplement the sponsoring organization's budget, not replace it.
C. All marketing materials must include use of the LTCC logo. The LTCC Executive Director is available upon request to aid in marketing and media planning.
D. If an organization receives grant funds from the LTCC for a certain project or event in one year, that does not in any way guarantee that a grant request from the same program will be funded in future years.
X. Xxxxx recipients may use allocated funds only for such approved purposes stated in the grant proposals approved by the LTCC. Reallocation of funds for purposes other than those specified in the grant proposal will not be reimbursed by the LTCC.
X. Xxxxxx used for special projects must show that the project will provide growth of the tourism industry in Lebanon. Emphasis will be given to grant requests that directly and indirectly maximize the number of visitors who come to our area. Grants showing the fastest and highest return on the investment will be given highest priority. Special project grants must improve the quality of life in Lebanon.

D. Any funds granted will be subject to audit.
X. Xxxxx requests should not exceed $500. This grant fund agreement may be terminated with 24 hours by written notice by the ETCB for breach or failure of the applicant to perform pursuant to any of the provisions or requirements set forth herein. If grant funds have already been disbursed before the breach occurs, the applicant will be responsible for full repayment.
