Statewide Committee Clause Samples

Statewide Committee a. A Statewide Joint Committee on health and safety will be established consisting of two (2) representatives of the Union appointed by the Union and two (2) representatives of the Employer appointed by the Office of the State Employer, hereinafter referred to as the Statewide Committee. Each party will make a good faith effort to appoint at least one (1) member who has professional training in industrial hygiene or safety.
Statewide Committee. The Chairs of the Regional Committees are the voting members of the Statewide Committee. An Associate may be a non-voting member of the Statewide Committee. Further, the Statewide Committee also may include as non-voting members representatives from the Washington State Department of Health Office of Drinking Water, Washington State Department of Ecology, Washington State Emergency Management Division, Rural Community Assistance Corporation, Evergreen Rural Water of Washington, Washington State Public Health Laboratory, EPA Region 10, Washington Association of Sewer and Water Districts, and the Washington PUD Association. Under the leadership of a Statewide Committee Chair elected by majority vote of the voting members of the Statewide Committee, the Statewide Committee shall plan and coordinate emergency planning and response activities for the Network.
Statewide Committee. The parties shall establish a Labor-Management Committee [hereinafter referred to as "LMC"] which shall be a standing committee for the duration of this Agreement. The LMC shall meet at least every other month at a mutually agreed upon time and place on paid status for all members, to include travel time. The Union and the Employer shall each appoint one co-chairperson, one official note taker and one member from each state agency at which the Union represents employees unless mutually agreed to the contrary. Both parties shall be allowed to appoint one alternate from each state agency at which the Union represents employees. In the absence of the appointed member, an alternate may attend the LMC on paid status to include travel time.
Statewide Committee. A committee consisting of representatives from Members and other agencies that may have a role to play in the Mutual Aid and Assistance Program (e.g., public health, emergency management, rural water, water utility organizations) that shall administer the WARN Program for the state.
