Substituting for Another Teacher. 1. In the event that a substitute teacher cannot be placed in a classroom, the Principal may ask a teacher to "give up their planning time" to serve as a substitute or ask a teacher to include another teacher's class within their own. The request shall be made on a rotating basis. After the principal has gone through the rotation of request and still has no coverage, the principal has the right to assign a teacher to the classroom.
