Sunday through Thursday/Tuesday through Saturday Workweek. It shall not be a violation of this Agreement for the Employer, after discussion with the Local Union, to establish a non-traditional workweek(s) for hourly rated employees. (Example: Tuesday through Saturday; Sunday through Thursday). This subsection does not prohibit a Local Union and an Employer from negotiating terms and conditions for a non-traditional work- week(s) that are different from those outlined herein provided they are ratified by the affected members. Existing non-traditional workweek and premium pay agreements in effect as of the date of ratification shall remain in effect subject to the right of the parties to change by mutual agreement. Non-tradi- tional workweek(s) shall be subject to the following conditions: (a) A drivers’ 5-day bid workweek will be protected before us- ing supplemental drivers. (b) When assigning additional drivers over and above the bid workweek drivers, those drivers eligible for a 6th day will be ex- hausted before utilizing drivers eligible for a 7th day. (c) When a driver is forced to work a 6th day within a work- week or a 7th day within a workweek, that driver will exercise his/ her seniority for dispatch purposes unless an alternate dispatch sys- tem has been mutually agreed to by the Company and Local Union. (d) When a driver volunteers to work a 6th day within a work- week or a 7th day within a workweek on overflow work, said driver will work at the bottom of the regular bid board unless an alternate

(e) No more than twenty (20%) percent of the seniority list shall be on a Sunday through Thursday bid workweek unless mutually agreed to otherwise by the Company and Local Union. (f) No more than fifteen (15%) percent of the seniority list shall be on a Tuesday through Saturday bid workweek unless mutually agreed to otherwise by the Company and Local Union. (g) Starting times shall be negotiated with the involved Local Union. If the parties are unable to agree, the Employer may implement the desired start times. If the Local Union chooses to dispute the matter, such dispute shall be submitted to the Western Area Joint Arbitration Committee for resolution.

  • Holiday Falling on Saturday or Sunday For an employee whose normal workweek is from Monday to Friday and when any of the above-noted holidays falls on a Saturday and is not proclaimed as being observed on another day, the following Monday will be deemed to be the holiday. When a holiday falls on a Sunday and it is not proclaimed as being observed on another day, the following Monday (or Tuesday, where the preceding section already applies), will be deemed to be the holiday for the purpose of this agreement.

  • Saturday Work A day worker required to work overtime on a Saturday shall be afforded at least four hours work or paid for four hours at the rate of time and one half for the first three hours and double time thereafter, except where the overtime is continuous with overtime commenced on the previous day.

  • Holidays Falling on Saturday or Sunday ‌ For an employee whose workweek is from Monday to Friday, and when any of the above-noted holidays falls on a Saturday and is not proclaimed as being observed on some other day, the following Monday shall be deemed to be the holiday for the purpose of this agreement; when a holiday falls on a Sunday and it is not proclaimed as being observed on some other day, the following Monday (or Tuesday, where the preceding section already applies to the Monday), shall be deemed to be the holiday for the purpose of this agreement.

  • Monday morning The employee should not work more than 16 hours without an 8 hour break.

  • Monday An employee should not work more than 16 hours and must take an 8 hour break before continuing work. Therefore, an employee called in at 7:00 p.m. Sunday could work until 11:00

  • Saturday and Sunday Work (a) Where an employee is rostered to work ordinary hours between midnight Friday and midnight Saturday, the employee will be paid a loading of 50% of their ordinary rate of pay for the hours worked during this period. (b) Where an employee is rostered to work ordinary hours between midnight Saturday and midnight Sunday, all employees excluding home care employees will be paid a loading of 75% of their ordinary rate of pay for the hours worked during this period. (c) Casual employees will be paid in accordance with Clauses 35(a) and 35(b). The rates prescribed in Clauses 35(a) and 35(b) will be in substitution for and not cumulative upon the casual loading prescribed in Clause 12.5(b). (d) These extra rates will be in substitution for and not cumulative upon the shift penalties prescribed at Clause 38 Shiftwork.

  • Monday to Saturday Time and a-half for the first three hours and double time thereafter.

  • Sunday Work Employees required to work overtime on Sundays shall be paid for a minimum of three hours work at double time. The double time is to be paid until the employee is relieved from duty.

  • Monday to Friday The Executive's salary has been computed to reflect that his regular duties are likely, from time to time, to require more than the normal hours per week and the Executive shall not be entitled to receive any additional remuneration for work outside normal hours.
