Superintendent's action. (a) After receiving the Board's resolution, the superintendent shall prepare recommendations for appropriate personnel action, which may include teacher displacement under this subsection 11.7, consistent with Board policy and state and federal law. As necessary and appropriate, the Superintendent shall submit to the Board such recommendations and the Board may revise as necessary its resolution of action.

Superintendent's action. The JP’s final report shall be forwarded to the Superintendent immediately after it is final. Nothing in this Article shall be interpreted as limiting the authority of the Superintendent to initiate any form of discipline, up to and including dismissal of a unit member consistent with the applicable provisions of the Education Code.
Superintendent's action. 21.6.1 Within 30 days after receiving the Board’s statement, the superintendent shall submit to the Board recommendations for cancellation of employment of particular teachers. When probationary and nonprobationary status is used solely to determine cancellation of a teaching position occurring within any particular endorsement area, the contracts of probationary teachers who are occupying such positions shall be canceled first. Following consideration of performance evaluations and probationary and nonprobationary status, the superintendent shall consider the following factors in recommending a teacher for cancellation of employment in the following priority order:

  • Superintendent's Duties The Superintendent’s duties shall be as prescribed by statute and by Board policies, rules, regulations and directives. The Superintendent agrees to devote the Superintendent’s time, skill, labor and attention to all required duties throughout the contract term. The Superintendent shall be subject to the direction and control of the Board at all times and shall perform such administrative duties as the Board assigns. By agreement with the Board, the Superintendent may undertake consultative work, speaking engagements, writing, lecturing, or other professional duties and obligations as long as they do not interfere with carrying out the Superintendent’s duties and obligations to the District.

  • Superintendent The Contractor shall employ a competent superintendent and necessary assistants who shall be in attendance at the Project site during the progress of the Work. The superintendent shall represent the Contractor and all communications given to the superintendent shall be as binding as if given to the Contractor. All Communications shall be in writing when made or shall be confirmed in writing, by the Contractor, within twenty-four (24) hours of the communication.

  • Superintendence The Contractor shall maintain on site, at all times during the construction activities, a dedicated competent Superintendent. Whenever, in the sole discretion of the County, the Contractor is not providing a sufficient level of supervision, the County may direct the Contractor to increase the level of supervision for any or all projects, including but not limited to the right to direct the Contractor to assign a full time, dedicated Superintendent for any project; submit daily management, inspection, activity, and planning reports; substitute Subcontractors; submit daily photographs of the work in place and the work areas prepared for the next day’s work; and develop a site specific quality control program, all at no cost to the County. In the event the County’s personnel are required to provide direction or supervision of the work in the field because the Contractor has not provided sufficient supervision, the Contractor shall reimburse the County $150 per hour for such effort.

  • LEGAL RESPONSIBILITIES The CONSULTANT shall keep itself informed of State and Federal laws and regulations which in any manner affect those employed by it or in any way affect the performance of its service pursuant to this Agreement. The CONSULTANT shall at all times observe and comply with all such laws and regulations. The DISTRICT, and its officers and employees, shall not be liable at law or in equity occasioned by failure of the CONSULTANT to comply with this Section.

  • MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES 7.01 Except to the extent provided herein, this Agreement in no way restricts the Employer in the management and direction of the Public Service.
