Supporting Infrastructure. The University has invested significantly in its learning support infrastructures over a long period of time (averaging an annual capital expenditure of approximately £20M p.a. over the last ten years). Nonetheless, it will use some of the additional fee income to further extend and enhance that infrastructure to the benefit of all students. It will ensure, particularly, that facilities aimed at supporting students from under-represented groups are effective and will include access to open- and distance-learning, counselling and learning support, library and other learning resources.

Supporting Infrastructure. 7.1 On-Site and Off-Site Infrastructure Improvements. In accordance with Sections 1013.33 (3)(d) and 163.31777(2)(d) F.S., the School Board and affected Local Governments will jointly determine the need for and timing of on-site and off-site improvements necessary to support a new school or changes to an existing school facility that may affect public infrastructure. The School Board and the Local Governments agree that the primary responsibility for constructing, operating and maintaining required infrastructure improvements shall be divided as follows: a. The School Board is responsible for 1. On-site infrastructure improvements necessary to support the school; 2. Right-of-way dedications necessary to accommodate off-site infrastructure (turn lanes, sidewalks, etc.) adjacent to the school property; and 3. Extension of water and sewer lines required to serve the educational or ancillary facility. This provision is not intended to require the School Board to dedicate property or pay for improvements or construction of facilities of a general district- wide or regional nature which exceeds the School Board’s proportionate share of the cost. By virtue of this subsection, the School Board is not waiving any local governmental responsibility for reimbursement per Chapter 1013, F.S. b. The Local Government is responsible for 1. Acceleration/deceleration/by-pass lanes on roads contiguous to the school site; 2. School cross-walk pavement striping; 3. School zone flashing lights; 4. Traffic signals that are required on public roads; 5. Sidewalks needed within the two mile walk zone of a school; 6. Reduced speed limit zones and signage; and 7. Fire hydrant main extension.
Supporting Infrastructure. 3.C.1 The School Board in collaboration with local governments will determine the need for and timing of on-site and off-site improvements necessary to support each new school or the proposed renovation or expansion of an existing school, and will enter into a written interlocal agreement as to the timing, location, and the party or parties responsible for funding, acquiring, constructing, operating, and maintaining the required improvements per 1013.51, Florida Statutes. 3.C.2 The School Board will be responsible for all on-site improvements necessary to connect to existing infrastructure systems and reasonable off-site improvements (as defined by an agreement pursuant to Section 3.C.1) necessitated by the location of a new school or ancillary facility, proposed renovation or expansion of an existing school. School Board improvements will be made at the necessary level to serve the school site and basic safety and installation/construction codes of local utilities. Any roadway, driveway, sidewalk or other such physical improvements anticipated to be maintained by the affected local government shall meet their standards for design and construction. The affected local government or developer may request upgrades or over sizing of infrastructure improvements to serve the School Board’s facility. The local jurisdiction or developer, as appropriate, shall reimburse the School Board for additional costs associated with these upgrades or oversized facilities. Interlocal agreements, as mentioned in 3.C.1, will define any cost sharing, agreed upon upgrades and responsibilities for the improvements. 3.C.3 Infrastructure improvement projects identified by the local jurisdictions according to Section 3.A.7.c will be coordinated with the School Board construction schedule and facility opening date and the School Board and local jurisdiction will enter into local agreements to outline the scope, cost, and responsibilities for completion of improvements.

In conjunction with the land use consistency determination described in subsection 5.1 of this Agreement, the School Board and affected local government will jointly determine the need for and timing of on-site and off-site improvements necessary to support each new school or the proposed major renovation of an existing school. The School Board and the affected local government will enter into a written agreement identifying the timing, location, and the party or parties responsible for financing constructing, operating and maintaining the required improvements.
Supporting Infrastructure. (a) Provision of technical assistance to prepare feasibility studies, design, and bidding specifications for Selected IT Parks to be developed based on a PPP model in the Borrower’s territory. (b) Development, using a PPP model and based on the results of the technical assistance provided through Part 4 (a) of the Project, of Selected IT Parks in the Borrower’s territory.
Supporting Infrastructure. In conjunction with the initial land use consistency determination described in Section 4.1 above, and pursuant to Section 1013.51(1), Florida Statutes, or its successor, the School Board and affected Local Government will jointly determine the need for and timing of on-site and off-site improvements necessary to support each new school or major renovation to existing school. The School Board and the affected Local Government will enter into a written agreement identifying the timing, location, and the party/ies responsible for financing, constructing, operating and maintaining the required improvements.

The supporting infrastructure is described in Schedule 4.5 and will include, but is not limited to, the following: • Pilot Road; • Construction Power Services; • Initial Construction Camp and Work Areas; • Access Road; • Main Construction Camp; • Work Areas; • Service Roads; • Stage I - Cofferdam; • Stage II - Upstream Cofferdam; • Access Road; • Stores Area; and • Borrow Areas. 4.3.2 The routing and location of the access road and the main construction camp will, subject to the ultimate decision and approval of the relevant regulatory authorities be determined following all necessary consultation.

Supporting Infrastructure. Power for the Smelter and Refinery will be supplied from a new power house being developed in conjunction with the Saline Water Conversion Corporation. This plant will be built on land adjacent to the industrial site at Ras Az Zawr and will supply electric power, potable water and desalinated water to the Project. The power house will be fuelled with natural gas supplied by Saudi Aramco in accordance with the key terms described in the Gas Allocation Letter. Supporting Infrastructure. 6.1 In conjunction with the preliminary consistency determination described in subsection 5.4 of this agreement, the school board and affected local governments will jointly determine the need for and timing of on-site and off-site improvements necessary to support each new school or the proposed significant expansion of an existing school, and will enter into a written agreement as to the timing, location, and the party or parties responsible for constructing, operating and maintaining the required improvements. 6.2 The School Board will identify all infrastructure requirements such as sidewalks, bicycle paths, crosswalks, turn lanes, and signalization at the time of new school site selection and submit those requirements to the county.4
