Notification of Appointment. Each ASF Member will be notified in writing at the beginning of each fiscal year of the individual’s salary, salary range, title, type of appointment, starting and ending dates of the appointment, full or part-time status (if part- time, percentage of full-time will be shown), probationary appointment years worked, if any, payment option, and any other relevant special conditions of employment, if any, such as "live-in" requirements and applicable rental charges for residence hall staff. The format of the appointment document shall be the same for each university, and shall include a statement that the appointment is subject to the provisions of this Agreement. However, if the Employer develops a means to allow ASF Members to access this information electronically, the above described written notification need not be provided.

Notification of Appointment. An appointment is effective upon receipt of written notification of appointment from the University. Notification shall be provided as soon as feasible, but no later than the final census date of each semester as reflected in the University academic calendar. Notification shall include the beginning and ending dates of appointment, salary, the anticipated teaching assignment, as well as other conditions of employment. Notification is not required for course sections or courses added after the final census date, or in which adjunct professors start teaching at a time other than the beginning of the regular semester schedule.

Within fifteen (15) days of being appointed to a case, Attorney must register the case on the SCCID website as required by the South Carolina Supreme Court (Order dated September 29, 2006) and in accordance with the policies and guidelines of SCCID. Failure to timely and fully register each assigned case as required, including any updates of required data, may be grounds for termination of this Agreement and/or considered a waiver of payment of attorney fees if more than 30 days have passed from receipt of the order of appointment without approval from SCCID, in the discretion of SCCID. A case is considered registered when the attorney enters the case information on the SCCID website and submit the voucher for payment.
Notification of Appointment. Successful applicants will receive a signed copy of their employment agreement, which shall include: job title, classification, course number and title (where applicable), estimated total hours of work (and for Residence Assistants, the estimated number of duty shifts per month), starting date, salary, hiring department, length of appointment, the Supervisor, a copy of the vacancy posting, and identification of PSAC as the bargaining agent. Information pertaining to the online orientation session (including access instructions) will be provided at the time of hire.
