Teacher Interns. 36.1 Teacher interns shall be members of the bargaining unit. 36.2 Teacher interns shall be placed on the Teachers’ Salary Schedule. Occupational experience may be recognized for advanced placement on the salary schedule. 36.3 Pursuant to Education Code Section 44325, teacher interns shall: 36.3.1 possess a baccalaureate degree conferred by an accredited institute of post-secondary education; 36.3.2 successfully pass the state basic skills proficiency test administered under the provisions of California Education Code 44252 and 44252.5; 36.3.3 successfully pass the appropriate subject matter examination administered by the commission of preparation and licensing in the subject areas in which the teacher intern is authorized to teach; and 36.3.4 have an academic major or minor in the subject area in which the teacher intern is authorized to teach. 36.4 Teacher intern provisions shall be governed pursuant to California Education Code 44326 and subsequent modifications and other program requirements. 36.5 The above sections are included for informational purposes and do not negate the District’s rights under other provisions of the Education Code. 36.6 With respect to District operated programs, the District shall not utilize teacher interns (as defined by Xx. Code Sections 44325 and 44326) until the voluntary transfer process of Article 15, Staffing and Assignment, is completed.

Teacher Interns. 1. Interns shall have the option to be members of the bargaining unit. Wages, benefits, hours, and other terms and conditions of employment covered by this Agreement shall be provided to all interns. 2. No intern shall replace a currently employed bargaining unit member. 3. A bargaining unit member employed as a District or university intern shall be classified as a temporary or probationary employee. 4. Following completion of the internship, if he/she is reelected by the District to serve in a position requiring certification qualifications for the next succeeding school year, he/she shall be classified as a second-year probationary employee during that second year. 5. A bargaining unit member who has completed an internship with the District and at least one (1) complete school year and two (2) complete consecutive school years in a position requiring certification qualifications as a probationary employee shall be granted permanent status when he/she is reelected for the next succeeding school year to a position requiring certification qualifications.
Teacher Interns. 18.1.1 In the event the District hires interns, to provide certificated services, a list of intern’s names, positions held, and site assignments will be given to the Association within twenty (20) work days of first day of service. 18.1.2 Interns shall be members of the bargaining unit. Wages, benefits, hours, and other terms and conditions of employment covered by this agreement shall be provided to all interns. 18.1.3 An Intern Support Provider (ISP) or mentor teacher may be assigned to each intern or first year probationary teacher, and if done so, the support provider or mentor teacher will be assigned by the site principal.

  • Agreements with Foreign Banking Institutions Each agreement with a foreign banking institution shall provide that: (a) the assets of each Portfolio will not be subject to any right, charge, security interest, lien or claim of any kind in favor of the foreign banking institution or its creditors or agent, except a claim of payment for their safe custody or administration; (b) beneficial ownership for the assets of each Portfolio will be freely transferable without the payment of money or value other than for custody or administration; (c) adequate records will be maintained identifying the assets as belonging to each applicable Portfolio; (d) officers of or auditors employed by, or other representatives of the Custodian, including to the extent permitted under applicable law the independent public accountants for the Fund, will be given access to the books and records of the foreign banking institution relating to its actions under its agreement with the Custodian; and (e) assets of the Portfolios held by the foreign sub-custodian will be subject only to the instructions of the Custodian or its agents.

  • Fund Administration Treasury Services Prepare for the review by designated officer(s) of the Trusts’ financial information that will be included in the Trusts’ semi-annual and annual shareholder reports (which shall also be subject to review by the Trusts’ legal counsel), and other quarterly reports (as mutually agreed upon), including tax footnote disclosures where applicable;

  • TEACHER FACILITIES A. The Board shall provide for each actively employed teacher: 1. A serviceable desk, chair and computer. 2. Access to a dining table. 3. A lockable desk, file cabinet or closet in which teachers may store instructional materials and supplies. 4. An appropriately furnished room to be reserved for the exclusive use of staff as a faculty lounge. Said room will be regularly cleaned by the custodial staff and will be in addition to the other teacher work areas. However, staff will be expected to keep the lounge reasonably neat and orderly. 5. Access to well-lighted and clean employee restrooms, separate from the students' restrooms with appropriate supplies. 6. Storage facilities for special instructional personnel. 7. In accordance with applicable food and nutrition guidelines, the principal, at request by a majority of the teachers, may arrange for the installation of a maximum of two faculty vending machines in each faculty lounge. All proceeds from the machines shall be used in such manner as the majority of teachers and educational support employees of that building shall determine. Cost, if any, of installation shall be borne by the teachers and educational support employees of each school. B. Where feasible in existing buildings, and in all new buildings, the following will be provided. 1. A teacher work area containing adequate equipment and supplies to aid in the preparation of instructional materials. 2. A communication system so that teachers can communicate with the main office from their classrooms, provided that such system is used only for emergency announcements during class periods. 3. Space for teachers' dining in a faculty lounge or other room unavailable to students with tables and chairs sufficient to accommodate teachers during their lunch period. C. Teachers shall report in writing to the principal any condition considered unsafe or hazardous. The principal shall take action(s) as appropriate and shall notify the teacher in writing of such action(s) taken within five (5) days. D. A telephone will be made available for teachers to use for school business. Teachers and principals shall arrange this use to provide reasonable privacy during the call. During the workday, teachers may make personal phone calls only if the calls cannot be made at any other time. E. Teachers who need access to a telephone for school business after the workday ends shall arrange this access with the principal. Teachers with supervisory responsibilities will also have access to the building. F. An adequate portion of the parking lots at each school will be reserved for teacher parking. Effective July 1, 2012, newly hired employees assigned to the South East Street Central Office location will be required to pay a fee of $45 per month if they elect to park in designated BOE parking areas. Twelve-month employees may elect payroll deduction to allocate payments over 24 equal paychecks. Eleven-month employees may elect payroll deduction to allocate payments over 22 equal paychecks. Ten-month employees may elect payroll deduction to allocate payment over 20 equal paychecks. G. The Board will take steps to ensure teachers have access to their classrooms when custodians unlock the buildings in the morning and up to one (1) hour before custodial shifts end on weekdays during the school year, provided rooms are not being utilized by outside user groups. Teachers shall have access to their rooms during summer operating hours during summer months unless there is scheduled maintenance, outside user groups or FCPS programs occurring.

  • Relation to other International Agreements 1. The Parties affirm their existing rights and obligations with respect to each other under the WTO Agreement and any other agreements related to trade to which the Parties are party (1). 2. In the event of any inconsistency between this Agreement and any other agreement to which the Parties are party, the Parties shall immediately consult with each other with a view to finding a mutually satisfactory solution in accordance with rules of interpretation of public international law. 3. If any provision of the WTO Agreement that the Parties have been incorporated to this Agreement is amended and accepted by the Parties at the WTO, such amendment shall be deemed incorporated automatically to this Agreement. (1) The agreements mentioned in paragraph 1 shall include treaties, conventions, agreements, protocols, and memorandums of understanding entered into by the Parties or government agencies of the Parties.
