Common use of Temporary Assumption of Duties Clause in Contracts

Temporary Assumption of Duties. Any Employee who temporarily assumes the duties of another Employee or supervisor for a period in excess of five (5) days will be paid the higher rate of pay for those duties. An Employee's pay shall not be reduced as the result of any temporary change in duties.
