The Challenge for Westminster Sample Clauses

The Challenge for Westminster. The key challenges for Westminster in implementing this LAA will fall into two categories – challenges for the short term (during year 1) and challenges for the longer term (over the life of the LAA and beyond). The City Council and its partners already work well together to deliver change in deprived areas. Our aim is to build on this to deliver a truly seamless service for the residents of these neighbourhoods. • Move to joint commissioning where ever possible to support greater integration of service delivery based on the needs of the customer. To implement the above points now and in the future, we need to extend the principle of joint commissioning with partners across more areas of service delivery and use this to underpin our collective commitment to the delivery of the LAA outcomes framework. We will start immediately by developing an innovative city profiles database which will give us an unprecedented understanding of the nature, needs and priorities of all of our neighbourhoods. This will give us an initial baselining of all our neighbourhoods and the ability to regularly update this information as we make progress. • Build on existing local mechanisms to allow all neighbourhoods to increase their influence over the services they receive and improve our ability to respond flexibly to their differing demands. The introduction of such mechanisms will ensure a continued drive towards ever more differentiated targets and service delivery, which will in turn be supported through the ongoing development of the LAA. In developing these mechanisms we will also give c...
